Have no idea how much more has gone from the kitchen, I’m being ruthless. So I will go with a conservative 20 which includes things like an old CD case, cuddly toys x2, and old cocoa powder, just some of the things.
565)-584) items from kitchen out. Either binned or recycled.
585) shoebox completed and dropped off. Had to drop off some neutral items and buy some things for the Bags of Joy which raises money for the shoebox hub so a win, win. Had the items for a shoebox, so put one together last minute (11 shoeboxes, done, completed and dropped off)
Neutral items
another 35 items dropped off to the shoebox hub. Sometimes I will count a bag of combs for example, as one item.1183+35=1,218 neutral items out.
really pleased with this, this year.
loving the house @vulpix but not the cleaning you had to do🤢Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only a few things done today but I did go into town and visited the school uniform shop. Sox is very needy and keeps following me round although he seems quite well. He hates the weather and its not even cold yet. He is very worried about an empty picture hook above my desk - I guess he thinks its a creature crawling up wall. DD moved the picture that was there and I've not replaced it with anything. Daft animal.
1041 MOT Booked for end of month
1042 Plastics to SM
1043 Empty inhalers to pharmacy - I may have already counted this but there were 2 in the bag
1044 Addtional school jumpers and some shirts bought at school shop and taken to DS2s.
1045-1047 Three meetings sorted out
1048 Yet more emails read, answered deleted etc - I did remember to do some unsubscribing this time.
1049 A few Christmas stocking gifts bought, an advent calendar, some wrapping paper etc
1050 Last of DGCs Christmas cards found and bought.
1051 80 euros found whilst looking for something else - will do for December trip.
Meetings tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday but free day Friday.2025 Decluttering Campaign 1235/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅🏅) 🌟🌟🌟💐

Managed to read a few things off the reading pile and put them in recycling bin. Cleaned utensils drawer in kitchen and set aside a few things for OH to take. There can’t be many more of his things left to find.
Started to tidy up a corner in the bedroom but found myself just moving things around rather than actually putting them away so decided to leave for now and try again another day.14 -
Yes @SuzieSue I am in Cowes. I didn't knit all of the little elves but I was storing them.
They will be distributed across the island over the next few weeks so look out for them. 🙂craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £35.96 spent, 144 made and 5 mended,

Back to cheerleading starting 1st November:
Wednesday2000, so very sorry about your cat 🥺 It was very kind of you to donate the cat beds & food 🥹 Sending many cwtches 🤗
Lovely cheerleading vulpix ☺️ Hope MrV has a lovely time & that you enjoyed your time with the cats 🤞 Loved This “Fluffy went to work at 4. She has a strong cat work ethic.” 😊 I also love that you are already making plans for future projects 😊 It is almost beyond belief how many ‘Change of Address’ cards need to be sent especially to various financial institutions 😞 Good news about the pension 🥳 every little helps ☺️ It sounds like MrV has a strong ‘human’ work ethic 😁 especially as you have now both ‘accepted’ that he will probably never really retire 😅
oceanspirit, well done re This “Yesterday was one of those frustratingly busy with things that didn’t actually get me anywhere days. Email total went up but I have managed to get it back down to 116 this morning.” 👏
A few more posts replied to but have just noticed the time so am off to bed. Sleep tight 😴

What cheery little fellows soontobeoap.
A lot of yesterdays frogs eaten. Just a couple of addresses to change now. Mr V did a tip and chazzer run. Quite a lot of things exited the house. Including previous owners stuff. Mr V collected our mirror from the previous house! Still not found my dressing gown. Lots of boxes of studio stuff stored in the built in cupboard for now. The dining room is now tidy. if we ignore the table, door, greenhouse and stepladders stacked in one corner. I hung the door curtain at the patio window as a temporary thing. There is a real fire in the dining room which I lit this afternoon. It felt snug as I had 10 minutes sat in a chair in there. There are still boxes in the kitchen to deal with, piled up on the breakfast bar. Plus 2 garden chairs waiting for me to paint them whilst they are dry. Mr V has repaired them and given them a sand down. I can't say I am in the mood for painting big garden chairs atm. I did manage to fit in making parsnip soup though.
There is a lot to do today before craft club and the carpet cleaning guy coming. I am going to move the bedside tables etc into the bathroom so there will be less furniture for him to move. He is cleaning the sofas too so they need hoovering.
Gosh we are tired. Vx:15 -
More off the reading pile today however emails are creeping back up.
A frog almost completed.14 -

Tuesday was a dry bright day with a high of 16°C, low of 14°C but feeling 4°C cooler due to a stiff breeze. Early afternoon DH & I went to CW to get passport photos for me + I needed a photo for my new Oyster Freedom Pass - a benefit of getting older 😉 We also popped into M&S for a lasagne. I was naughty again & instead of catching up with the cheerleading I completed more Sudoku puzzles & watched TV. DSis & I watched the final of GBBO & were pleased with the winner ☺️ Wudupa. I will try to respond to posts dated 1st November.

London_1, a busy Saturday morning peeling apples, potatoes & carrots 👏 This “We pay for it separately as our council list for garden waste collection is full. But in actual fact the waste company is cheaper than the council 😆” did make me smile 😄 Your DD is a saint - I would have sent the lad packing without any treats 🙊 Fingers crossed that the firework display is over quickly & that you & DD manage to keep the dogs calm 🤞
MadamMim2013, sorry to hear about your very poorly Ma 😞 Hopefully she is starting to improve 🙏 Excellent decluttering 👏
Excellent decluttering florianatwobob 👏

DB drove up to.mine and is staying and brought a v tiny bedside table I had inmy bedroom from age 7 when we inherited our grands things ajd matches chests of drawers I have , a dressing table stool which will fit with my dressing table as chairs too wide/ deep and some vases ans few other things including lots of dvds my dad recorded many old foreign language films you don't get on streaming services so good or winter nights. Overwhelming are the 2 printers for me to try out as mine has given up and dd2 left her new uni one at her dad's. I hate rue cables and having to connect etc but one or both will get passed on - both worked but its compatability.
Dd1 will be collecting the cats for a holiday while I'm away and will take some kitchen supplies where I have excess and also borrow a raincoat which she can keep if she likes. Will layout other things to offer. She and dB are looking to move to bigger flat next summer so may take more then. I have space to store some things for her .... until whichever year I move:)
DB noted how much stuff I don't have with spare room he's sleeping in v tidy and realise now there is no chair! So maybe too little
