Pottering kind of day. Will tackle frogs tomorrow. Sat down to type and suddenly remembered washing on line - it has actually dried quite a bit so on clothes horse overnight. I did start sorting a few books and five have a selling price on book site so starting a collection. Will count when they leave the house. One book in CS bag. I really need to reduce two bookcases full to one. DS2 came and put bed together - need to wait for mattress to expand fully. I have one set of covers but promised DGD4 she can choose another set as she sleeps in there most. Garage full of packaging which I will take in the morning. DS2 put one set of bedside drawers together and will do the other one in the week. Looking forward to sorting bedding to go under the new bed. I will try to be ruthless. Having a cup of tea then I will change into something warmer as going to bonfire. Coaxed Sox indoors with some treats and locked cat flap. Not sure how he will be with fireworks but best kept indoors.

I opened up the bed. Managed to get two crates out to sort, one totally emptied. Sorted a lot of card and paper from my crafting days, will not be used so in a bag to go to CS. Also discarded a carrier bag full of fabric, also in the bag for the CS. Found the photos I wanted. Found a ton of frames I do NOT want, photos removed and frames in bag for CS. And 2 plastic Tupperware containers in bag for CS.Couldn’t do too much sadly as I’m not designed for upside down and I can’t get on the floor either. It’s a real bind when your body won’t cooperate. But hey ho, could be worse so I am lucky. I shall have another go tomorrow, slow and steady wins the race.Had roast pork for dinner which was delicious, made even more so by being bought on special offer.Ready for a nice quiet evening, suddenly feeling very fatigued.

I decluttered some left over lasagne from the second freezer for dinner tonight I am having to use up some of the frozen left overs so there is room for forthcoming Christmas stuff
the lasagne was delicious though and it was followed by a slice of HM lemon cake that was just begging to be eaten 🤣🤣🤣 it too had been one of a couple of left over slices from the U3A meeting. We were told to take excess home so three slices of cake found its way to my house. Nothing gets wasted when it’s offered
spent the morning peeling apples and then as I was sitting in the sunny conservatory the spuds and carrot got done as well 🤣
DD is off swimming tomorrow morning so I may make some stuffing balls to go with the roast chicken that’s tomorrow Sunday dinner.
ive a pile of books in a bag that’s been read ready to go to the Ryde charity shop on Wednesday. I’ve also sorted out all the crochet hooks to go as well as my fingers find crocheting more difficult to manage than knitting so they can be found a new home

Back again with a photo of DSis’s flowers in vases. She has also received a 3rd bouquet from my DH’s family (DSis, DBiL, DNiece & her DH) 1st photo shows T’s flowers on left & 2nd photo is the ones that have just been delivered 17:45

DB phoned from Germany to DH’s mobile & asked to speak to ‘his sister’ expecting to speak to me & then being surprised when DH gave the phone to DSis - he still forgets DSis’s birthday is before mine (DB is only 63 😂) Anyway, they had a long conversation & you never know DB might remember next
🙊 DSis’s birthday dinner was rump steak, dauphinois potatoes & garlicky green beans 😋 Followed by chocolate cake a couple of hours later. DSis said that she had a lovely day so DH & I are happy 😊 Wudupa.

            Hello everyone,
Sorry that I've been AWOL. Happy belated birthday to Sister of Mrs S-D
@Wednesday2000 I'm sorry for your loss. They truly are family members.
@vulpix I'm sorry that your home was filthy and yay for your LCL!
October was stressful. Ds is in his third year of uni and we have discovered that despite several disabilty assessments by the disability department and a promise to let his course tutors know that he is disabled, his entire department of tutors were totally unaware that he has a disability. His personal tutor (new one this year) has taken it on and will see if the department was informed and ignored it or if the disability department just didn't bother notifying them. It has had repercussions this year which is why it is being investigated.
Anyway....my total decluttering for October was 165 items. It's slowed down a bit as besides the mental health problems that the above has created for ds, a local shop has asked me to make some Christmas items for them to sell. I will therefore be decluttering some of the yarn stash/mountain from my craft room, hopefully in return for some cash.
Ds is 21 this coming week. He and I are fairly relaxed about it but we're going to have a day out or for him a day off writing his current assignments. I need to go and play furniture tetris now to haul my bag of toy stuffing out of the cupboard at the back corner of the room 😄ready for the rest of the week then vacuum and tidy up. I have done my five things out for today - two of those were buttons for a cardi that someone has asked me to make. The buttons were in a bag of buttons that I inherited when a friend of mine died (they live in a big glass jar now). I think she would be amused to see me using them 😊
Take care all of you 😊12 -

Wondered what on earth you were talking about. I know there's cherry coke but I'd never heard of chocolate coke!!
