Hello all.
Hugs to all that need them.
I've been WFH today so trying to multi-task and when I'm on a screen break make it productive.
I've cleared the dining room table, washed and hung up 2 loads of laundry, folded and out away another load.
I'll be finishing work soon so will get the dogs out a bit earlier to try and miss the fireworks that are going off constantly up my way. Nightmare as the dogs are absolutely terrified.
I'll get the kitchen cleaned tonight before I get to bed, I'll do that when I'm pre-heating the oven and making my dinner.
I really need to get in and clear out my cupboards, who knows what lurks in there! I know a lot that can be sold or decluttered for sure.Debt Free - 4th June 202511 -

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger
The more the merrier! An FYI, I always have custard in my cupboards smiley:
Grandchildren decluttered, recycling bin emptied, Christmas presents bought. Very busy day today..12 -
Stew was delicious. One serving left so added to freezer.Spent this morning downloading various statements, checking them and filing them on laptop & external HD.
Was a pain that so much of the internet was having a hissy fit.DH Decluttered an ENORMOUS 8 legged beastie for me last night - I am a serious arachnophobe. As usual, he came running to the rescue.Thank you for the star @Mrs_Salad_Dodger.Dinner tomorrow from freezer and pantry shelves.
Tesco are having a big discount for Clubcard holders on pork. We haven’t had pork for ages so I have bought a few bits to stock up, we’ve made space by only eating from freezer, so I don’t think it’s too naughty and the prices were excellent. I’m actually starting to like Tesco over Sainsburys. And it absolutely poured early hours, I mean biblical downpour. Been showering on and off all day, managed to read the meters without getting soaked.Have a great evening all, night night xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Several little bits and pieces done today although technology has had me saying naughty words more than once. Also managed to read and deal with over 50 emails as the unreads as well as the paper reading pile have built back up again over the last few weeks - it doesn’t take long for it to feel out of control. 300 more emails to go, some of which need quite a bit of work around them before replies etc can be done.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅11

Quick post to say I have returned from weekend break. Nice to spend time with DS1 and family. Too much eaten but lots of walking and swimming. DS1 leaves for 5 week work trip overseas this evening. DGD2 is coming on train to stay next Sunday for a few days. We left early this morning so I was home early (only just over an hour for me). Sox has been clinging to me today. Not happy about rain but settled on his favourite settee spot now. DD has a new work role (same firm) so she is pleased and coming to visit Friday. I arranged a telephone appointment with doctors for test results and expected to get scolded but he was very nice and pleased with my sugar levels - he said although it was not perfect yet the reduction was excellent and to keep it up. Looking forward to hearing about Vulpix's move once she is back in the land of IT. It is almost a year since I moved. Just pottered around today - washing all done and most dried in the tumble dryer due to the weather.

General decluttering today
442)-450) small pieces of kitchen equipment into recycling. Slowly sorting out the kitchen to be ripped out
451) really lovely cake plate that was bought for me from abroad, I love the design but it was very badly chipped, paintwork glaze coming off. Wasn’t transported over in the best condition, decided to let it go and it has now been confined to the bin. I couldn’t do anything with it.452) massive bag of soft plastics to recycling point
453)-454) birthday and Christmas presents posted today. Did them together to save on postage but also out of the house along with some bulky packaging.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No decluttering for a number of days, except some stress with a weekend in scotland and saturday walk round a loch (or part way round). Hoping a few things will go out this week as decided not to go to drop off half full bags.
DD1 did take a blanket but nothing else when she popped in to see/care for the cats.
Had to go into the office on one of my wfh days due to tech issues and got home late so not beating myself up.
Hope the week's started well for people, hugs to all who need/would like, and large delivery of scones and jam to the TLC carriage. Couldn't resist when in Scotland x
