@Brie sounds good progress. I often ask CS if they want x or y, and often have the unsure at the top of a bag and have either brought things home etc. its usually something vintage and mostly they say yes but sometimes no.
Very little done the last couple of weeks. Came home from work and decided fed up of so many work type folders - have lots I can't get rid of , accident claims for DD, 10 year court stuff with ex etc but have 2 big level arch files for donation hub, 4 old work note books ripped up for recycling or taking to confidential waste, 2 banker typed files freed up for loose papers, and more paper for recycling. Moving some from one room to DD2's study/airing room as she's not around. Shocked how much of everything I have!
Feels like some progress.
Too windy out to go for a swim so going to watch drama and trying to make prettier storage in my bedroom (although need to clear some floor too).
2 pens out and used up bottom of fridge for a stew type thing for the weekend!
Also found torch not working so need to check if batteries or just given up.
Hope to do abit more and then will do numbers.12 -
A very lazy day here. This afternoon, I worked on Family Tree while Frankie decided he wanted his mamma in sight, so he curled up on the opposite sofa and went to sleep. It was idyllic. The wind was starting to grow and I could hear the rain on the windows. I love days like this.Fridge and freezer for dinner today. Tomorrow I am making another new to me recipe: slow cooker chicken and rice, apparently you put all in together, including the rice. Hope it is good. Thanks for medal @Mrs_Salad_Dodger.DH has “hinted” that, with a little help from him, the raised bed will be ready to dismantle on Sunday, oh pretty please with bells on! I’m not complaining, I have given myself until Christmas to get the yard cleared so I’m well on track.Hope everyone has had a Good Friday, sleep tight xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Forgot to come back, so will just finish off Friday. DSis & I watched the new Bridget Jones film - very disappointing & couldn’t get over how badly Hugh Grant has aged. Dinner was chicken & chips for DSis, salmon fillets, boiled new potatoes & peas for DH & me. Wudupa.

Hi all, more work on the union thing yesterday but not quite finished so will have to do it today 😁. Tidy round and cleaned, but the only things decluttered were the bathroom bin, lr bin and kitchen bin, and some past it potatoes lurking in the veg rack that couldn't be used 😵. After tea just did some crochet.
Up early today as I have my flu jab booked at 9.12 and I have had 2 text reminders about it 😂. The weather is pretty dire out there this morning so I will be glad to get home and have no plans to go out again 😁. I will try to have a chat with Dniece today to see how things are going and maybe organise a bottle of gin to be delivered 😂.
Right better get some breakfast and a cuppa and get myself organised
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Take care everyone

chicken thighs decluttered out of the freezer. OH claims he'll be doing something with couscous. There's mushrooms, a red pepper and onions/shallots for him to add. Saturday: a wild & windy night & morning. Forecast high 18°C, low 11° with a 21 mph wind & gusts of 48 mph. Currently 14°C feeling like 7°C due to the winds - although the sun has put in an appearance 🙂 Touch wood we have been very lucky 🍀 😮💨 DH is on the phone to his DSis. Soup is on to warm through. Now to catch up with the cheerleading 🤞
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Hopefully Sox will forgive you when you get back home 🤞 Wishing you a lovely time with your DSis 🥹 Thank you for sharing This “….. yes she does have an American accent. She married an American, went to college when her girls were small and became a lawyer. At college she used to get 'this is the English spelling' written on her work which she countered with 'yes but this is the English language'.” 📣 👏 she sounds amazing 🤩
Oh vulpix, what can I say 🥺😢 So sorry to hear that you are going through this 😔 Also very sorry to hear about DiL 😔 Cwtches for you both 🤗🤗 Hope MrV has a wonderful time with his son ☺️
purplevamp, you & me both 😉
Good work TC77 👏 especially with the garden waste 🙂
Great decluttering charlies_tribe 👏 Fingers crossed that you can get the kids bedrooms sorted soon so that you can have a proper sort out & tidy up of the dining room 🤞
Liverpool_Anne, a busy Thursday 👏 & it sounds like you have a busy Friday planned 😉 Hope you managed to get the union ‘thing’ sorted 🤞As to the NHS website, it doesn’t surprise me one bit that it doesn’t/didn’t work 😞 Pleased to hear that the receptionist was so helpful & managed to book you a phone appointment with the pharmacist 😊 Also a relief to hear that your DSis is feeling better & brighter 🥲 Hopefully This “They have also found she has a leaky heart valve, minor and they will monitor it.” won’t be too much of an issue 🙏
Excellent work BlueJ94 👏 & good luck with the rest of your plans 🍀
Brie, sounds like you are making great progress with sorting out your art supplies & pictures 👏 Very considerate not to just drop off items at the CS 🥹 Just such a shame that ‘others’ are not so considerate 😞 😖
TC77, This “Brie sounds good progress. I often ask CS if they want x or y, and often have the unsure at the top of a bag and have either brought things home etc. its usually something vintage and mostly they say yes but sometimes no.” is very considerate 🥹 Please don’t be so hard on yourself 🙏 you have been making steady progress with your decluttering & tidying 👏 Great progress with the paperwork especially as there is so much that you still need to keep 👏 Good luck 🍀
suzeesu2000 nothing lazy about catching your breath & working on your family tree 😊 Good luck with the new recipe 🍀 it does sound very tasty 😋 I had to smile at This “DH has “hinted” that, with a little help from him, the raised bed will be ready to dismantle on Sunday, oh pretty please with bells on! I’m not complaining, I have given myself until Christmas to get the yard cleared so I’m well on track.” 😆 Hopefully your DH will offer & give more than “a little help” 🤞
Excellent work QueenJess 👏
Steady progress TC77 👏
BlueJ94, that looks delicious 😋 Re This “…… and then OH had run me a nice bubble bath! So i slept like a baby last night haha!” what a lovely OH ☺️
Liverpool_Anne, hope your journey to get the flu jab wasn’t too stressful 🤞 & hope you have managed to talk to DNiece 🙏 Fingers crossed you can arrange delivery of some gin 😉🤞
Brie, hopefully OH won’t make too much mess in the kitchen & hopefully he tidies up after himself 🤞🙏
All caught up 🙂 Hope everyone is having a good day & managing to avoid going out 🤞Stay safe 🙏

De cluttered 25 'hot chocs and fuzzy socks' sets, and a bike has gone back to it's home.
I have a new tabletop freezer being delivered this week, it's soup and stew season so need it to store the batch cooking I will be doing. Also, it will be handy for the C bits I will start to pick up this month. No more tetris in the freezer...quite excited haha.15
