I came up with Dress A and a Dress B back up @Floss It was an excellent offer. I knew I liked them as they’re a ‘Plan B’ Company but this really did impress me. So I told the lady in the phone she had done an excellent job and asked her to pass on my compliments to her line manager. I used to work in call/contact centres and know how nice a compliment is amongst the complaints and being told to pass it on to a line manager makes a difference. She had her 1:1 today so was going to mention it.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Struggling with frogs trying to do early morning and after work and as complex and difficult sorting out the back of cupboards and deep cleaning looking inviting but I am resisting.
Some ood food and some paper out.
Calls being made although usually get given another no or email to make contact.
@florianatwobob fab customer service!
I am doing well wearing clothes to.make sure I want to keep them, today for the first time new ( really new to me about 5 years ago) trousers worn with new to me tank top ( 3 or 4 months ago) and feels/looks OK. Intention is that anything I haven't worn once or worn and not felt right will go when I get winter clothes out.... except where there is a good reason

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday: an overcast cloudy day with a high of 27°C, low 18°C & humidity 61% - feels very muggy but no rain forecast until tomorrow. I will go straight into cheerleading in an attempt to activate my brain to write a menu plan & a shopping list 🤞
GrannyKate, hope DS2 & family have a lovely holiday 😊 Excellent & eclectic decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that the builders turned up yesterday & have started work on bedroom 2 🤞What can I say about Sir Sox - he looks so relaxed in the planter but seems to be giving you the stink eye from his position in the lovingly bought cat bed 🤣
Excellent decluttering Rootle 👏 Congratulations on passing the halfway point of your decluttering target 🥳 One Gold Star ⭐️ on its way.
GrannyKate an excellent morning’s work - getting your hair done & dropping off a car load of stuff at the Tip 👏 & then managing to fit in a nap 😊
The cheerleading has activated my brain enough to menu plan for 3 days & write a small shopping list 😉 Rather than struggle to menu plan, I will send DH & DSis shopping again on Sunday 😂 DH had a flurry of activity - filled the bird feeders, composted the contents of another potato bag (potatoes had been nibbled at ☹️) & unpacked & unwrapped the exhaust covers which he had ordered. One more lot of bubblewrap added to CS bag & one cardboard box added to recycling bin - 1300 (which was not emptied this morning 😞) DH has also binned a really old pair of jeans - 1301. His new office chair has been delivered but will be staying downstairs for a while.
Liverpool_Anne, now that you are fully stocked with food hopefully you can persuade OH that menu planning is an ideal way to save money 🙏maybe you can save enough for a day out 😉 Just wondering if your OH batch cooks for the two of you as well as his niece 🤔 Excellent decluttering of containers & well done on getting the ironing done 👏 That sounds like my kind of evening “Very nice evening and as usual we were thrown out at closing time” 😂 Hope you enjoyed your last cake decorating class 😊 Fingers crossed that the rain on St Swithins Day only means that there will be some rain each day for 40 days as the gardens could use it 🤞🤞
Brie, an excellent job sorting out your artwork 👏 What a lovely surprise to find an envelope of photos 🥹 Fingers crossed that you remember the chap’s name 🤞It will probably come to you in the middle of a conversation with someone else 😅
QueenJess, sorry to hear that the kitchen clutter is “so overwhelming” 😞 however you have made an excellent start 👏 This “….. I think I have a container problem 😆” has prompted me to add ‘sort glass jars’ to my To Do List 😉 - although mine are not in the kitchen 😅
London_1, what a lovely granny you are 🥹 Hope your youngest grandson enjoyed his friend’s graduation 😊 38°C is way too hot 🥵 no wonder your eldest DD feels like a sun dried tomato 😥
Excellent decluttering suzeesu2000 👏 Thanks for the timely reminder that “Everything out is a win whether it’s 1 thing or a hundred things.” as I think we sometimes forget 😉
vulpix, hope the dentist visit wasn’t too painful - neither the treatment nor the cost 🤞The necklace sounds beautiful 😻 Excellent decluttering 👏 & I hope you realise how much you got done 🥹 Fingers crossed that the blood sample extraction is less painful this time & that you managed to get to your mum’s to continue your upcycling projects 🤞
weenancy, that sounds quite exciting & you never know fashions might have come around & you might be able to sell some of the clothing 🤞as it would now be classed as ‘vintage’ 😊
florianatwobob, that is truly great customer service 🤩 No wonder your “flabber was ghasted” 🥳
florianatwobob, I bet you made that lady’s day & how fortuitous that she was having her 1:1 🥹
TC77 very well done on resisting the temptation to abandon dealing with the complex & difficult frogs 🥳👏 💐 Perhaps cleaning the cupboards can be your ‘reward’ 😉 Excellent work on Project Clothing 👏
All caught up 🥳 As the shopping list was so small DH has gone shopping on the motorbike 🙂 which gives him the opportunity to get petrol as he is heading off on an RBR trip tomorrow with an overnight stop in Yorkshire 😊 Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 🤞See you later 👋

Out and about today on the mobility scooter. The footpath from the carpark to the high street was closed so I had to go round on the road. I always feel quite vulnerable doing that because I’m at child-height so not as visible to drivers. There’s also a part where the road is in very poor repair and it’s a choice between negotiating potholes or speed bumps.
Decluttered a book back to the library (although I brought home 3 more) and several bags of small change to the bank - £14 into my bank account 😀
Home to a lovely smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich then cleaners in this afternoon.
I’m pooped! Time for a siesta. 😴12 -
Trying a few new things today as I am utterly overwhelmed at the moment. So, this morning I set my timer for 10 mins and tidied up everything I could in that time. Then I set the timer for another 10 mins and cleaned whatever I could in that time. These are things I happily put off, but don't require too much thought and I loved knowing in 20 mins time I would be done for the day and things would be better than before. It worked really well, so I will definitely be doing that again. The bedroom is now significantly clearer and since I removed all the stuff from under the bed, I did a major dust and vacuum so the bedside tables and under the bed are now completely clean.I did try a 10 min timer for decluttering to see what I could find in that time, but it felt a bit stressful. I did find a few bits, but not much, although I probably spent 6 mins debating a casserole dish with DH which we both agreed could go so not sure why it took 6 mins to discuss that..The container drawer in the kitchen was so overwhelming that I put a few bits in that I knew I wanted to keep, dumped the rest in a huge box and put it upstairs. If I miss anything, it can come back down, otherwise the whole box is being donated.Decluttering efforts from today and last night:14 - DS tat binned/recycled/charity bag

Mini kitchen challenge 46/50
Big kitchen declutter challenge 66/150The kitchen is still very hard for me as I can find a use for anything. I also need to rearrange some cupboards, but I first need to debate with myself what I actually really need in there and then I can figure out the best way to get it arranged. It may take a while yet as I seem stuck on how many different flours I really need in stock and I've been considering that for over a month! 578 items decluttered in the past 6 days.2025 decluttering: 3,324🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Hopefully decluttering a Kenwood chef food mixer that doesn't get used, as we had two, plus a Russell Hobs two slice toaster that also doesn't get used because of the second one from my old house
DD has put them on a selling site locally, so fingers crossed they will go .make a bit more room in one of the kitchen cupboards if they go. The cash will go into the garden pot for plants etc.

decluttered breakfast duties (& a little ££) by taking him indoors out to a favourite caff for a fry up. it's a lovely spot and the woman who runs it is really nice, asked about our holidays, talked about the new lad that's working as her helper for the summer. only problem is spending the rest of the day smelling of fried bread. first world problems.
bin day tomorrow so did a quick look through the garage fridge/freezer where things get left forever. Moved all the ice cream treats into the same drawer - wondered how long the kulfi on a stick had been in there. Chucked out a bag of something that might have been frozen sausages of some unknown variety. Or maybe it was bananas. I'm better at labelling things now.... Considered yet again throwing out the packs of raclette cheese. 2 are marked BBF March 2024 and the other 2 March 2022. Still undecided.
Also added to the bin some things from the garage and carport that have sat much too long. Box of pine incense bought in Germany what decade? The step for the hot tub that really wasn't suitable, disintegrating car wash mitt, receipt from 2019, string of little solar lights that weren't being used anymore (presumably because they didn't work), rucksack. I was going to throw out the 2 rucksacks - they are dirty and very mouse chewed - but one has a large heavy tarp in it so I'll hoick that into the back of the car at some point to take it to the charity shop along with the suitcase and bin the sack then. so one bin filled mostly up to the top and then him says "why'd you chuck the rucksack? And now there's no place for all the stuff I cut back in the garden!!" Oh well. A bit of brute force has done it's magic and we're good to go.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. @BridgetTheCat - My brother was in an electric wheelchair and often had to go out it the streets for long distances. We got him a flag pole for his chair so that the flag could make him stand out more for drivers. He tried for 20 years to get ramps at the corners in our neighborhood. My father was furious with the city when they started putting them in - on the day of my brother's funeral.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - My brother was trying to visit every street in our city and then in the county. He had a map that he colored in with an orange marker to show where he had been. He managed most every street here in town.15 -

Hi, nothing needed at the dentist, I am blessed with un pretty but very serviceable teeth.
Giving blood was uneventful this time. I think she hit a nerve last time. It has happened before and I fainted. It's a very odd sensation.
DD1 came for tea. She had done a big walk locally with a friend from her uni days. She also brought a skirt for me to alter. It is made from neoprene and has 2 seams down the front instead of the sides. She has an hour glass figure and the waist was much too big. I have undone it and pinned it but the sewing can wait for another time. We are going to Haddon Hall tomorrow. We tried and tried to get tickets online for RHS Wentworth Woodhouse show at different times in the last month and different computers. No luck. DD1 has never been to Haddon Hall, the home of our ancestors, alledgedly.
About 50 stable bricks given away and collected. I was going to take them with us to the new house but it is too much trouble.
Decluttered a terracotta pot, my neighbour ran it over. That must have taken some skill!
I'm busy now till Sunday so no decluttering till then.
