Busy day here. DH and I spent 3 hours with the steamer and scrapers on the wood chip paper in the lounge. We managed to do half a wall. It is hard work but as DH said we have never been afraid of that. As it is on the ceiling as well DH has calculated that it is a 2 week job alongside our other commitments. Quarter of a bin bag of wallpaper. I have also spent a birthday voucher for the Range on a huge set of photo frames
One of those all in one affairs. I had such fun last night arranging pics of our family. So many happy memory's that the job made me smile. I have freed up a lot of individual frames. Some are destined for a car boot sale and some went in the bin as not good enough. Photos will all now be in big frames ( I bought 2) or put away giving a far less cluttered look. Finished filling the bin bag with photo trimmings, sticky tape, old frames.etc along with packaging. I'm 11 bags over my target and only half way through the year. The house is looking much clearer too. Feeling positive this evening

Apologies again for being awol again.
The decluttering hasn't been going that well, to be fair it's stopped and due to putting weight on, I'm still buying clothes.
So, unfortunately the clutter is coming in, in the form of clothes until I start managing to stop comfort eating, start eating better and losing weight again.Decluttering campaign 2023

Sorry to hear about your pet cranky.
It's tough losing a pet.
I still miss my cat despite her passing about 2 and a half years ago.
She was such good company and a real character.Decluttering campaign 2023

Hellooooooooo
I have decluttered my own body weight in cough medicine and throat things this week….i think things are drawing to a close now fingers crossed. Didn’t help that it’s treatment weekend and I usually just sleep but in this heat…….no…..still the heat has gone and it’s currently drizzling. Rogan very kindly brought me a leaf, Pepper brought me her favourite ball to play with and then promptly lost it behind a box….hubby has managed very well bless him looking after me ❤️
Cranky so sorry to hear about your cat they can be such bossy little creatures! My last cat is buried in the front garden and I quite often chatter away to her when I change the pots on her flagstone. She absolutely ruled the roost and would bully the 2 labs I had at the time…..I think rogan would have well and truly been put in his place by her 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

@Muddy_Walker... hope you are recovering.
DD2 arrived home with huge quantity of things from uni - not sure how it fitted in her room, definitely a maximalist and not a minimalist - and she has left her printer and some other things at her dad's.
Forgot I decluttered 2 cards and bottle of wine and treats when went out last night, and just done abit of work and papers recycled.

Good evening all
Like others, a constant verify that 'I'm Human'
Been enjoying all the wonderful Scotish holiday pics and it brings back some wonderful memories, so thank you for sharingCRANKY40 - So very sorry to hear about your beloved cat :'(Sending you big hugs and babyface sends a a wet sloppy kiss xxBeen getting up exceedingly early to keep things going/running during the heat blast of last weekI don't think any of us went to bed before 4am here last night, even the neighbours were all up!
Cooler from 5pm here today, so hoping to get on the Mr. Sains FREE flatpack boxes mega stock up tomorrow along with the usual early decluttering of 6 parcels to the Delivery Office as the Quad lockers are FULL this evening so the hallway is taken
I haven't listed anything new decluttering wise for the last month due to mega amounts of appointments etc and last week was far too hot to be listingAs cooler and wetter weather is expected over the next coupls of days, I hope to knuckle down to listing loads. I dare not count how many items are left as I don't want to jinx the decluttering sales, but the piles have been going down nicely
Babyface is as gorgeous and crazy as ever! She's had some post op issues but again quick thinking, an emergency animal medical bag and human medication intervention; which I don't advocate, prevailed and she's now well on the mend with the hot weather meaning she's had to rest. She's presently killing & eating a large dried cod row which I hid in the house for her to hunt down - Just as well the windows are open because it stinks!
Fox cubs are all doing well and eating & drinking like horsesTime to potter off for another mug of coffee & get the last of the clean up done before we head off to bed - Toodle pip for now all xxxxxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 26/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing13 -
So enjoy the small areas of calm and order in my house, although they don't stay like that for long!
I accept little the next month until DD2 goes away.
Remember the hug cupboard and tlc carriage.
went on a sale site but only looked at underwear I need and resisted looking at other things. each sale had been buying a sheet and then realised I now have more than I need!

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday: Before I forget, yesterday’s animal list was missing the 3 dozen ducks which were sunning themselves on the grass & pavement next to a river 😊
Another good night’s sleep - woke at 05:00 & 07:00 for loo visits & got up 07:45 to pack the bags & get partially dressed - room was warm & windows painted shut (good job we didn’t have to evacuate the hotel overnight as DH & I were asleep on top of the bed wearing next to nothing 😂) It was bright & sunny with a temperature of 17°C at 08:30. Finished getting dressed & went down to breakfast @ 08:50. DH had his usual full breakfast, juice & coffee whilst I had a couple of rashers of bacon + 2 slices of toast & marmalade, juice & coffee. After a very leisurely breakfast we went back to our room, checked everything was packed then headed downstairs. DH packed the bike whilst I paid our dinner & drinks bill & chatted to the receptionist. On the road by 10:00 - bright & warm. First stop was Bow Fiddle Rock where we met a dozen or so ladies who had been wild water swimming 1.8 km 😬 One of them had bone white fingers & had only just got the colour back as we left 15 minutes later. Onto Portsoy - weather still lovely - another 20 minutes lost as we chatted to a chap who was walking his rather elderly corgi 😉 We stopped at a café in Fraserburgh @ 13:10 - it had clouded over by then but we missed the rain as we were enjoying our coffee & cake 🥳 Back on the road by 14:00 & at 14:30 the heavens opened & for the next 25 minutes we got wetter & wetter sigh ☹️ Then the rain stopped, the wind picked up & eventually the sun came out again so by 17:00 we were dry again 😮💨 Arrived at our lodgings The Holiday Inn @ 17:55. Our room is on the 2nd floor right by the lift 🙂 Showered, changed & in the pub by 19:00. We had burger & chips for dinner & were just about finished when our friends arrived, Sarah & her daughter Laura followed a few minutes later by Richard (Laura’s dad). A lovely evening full of laughter & chat with a few drinks 😉 The party broke up at 22:20 with a promise to meet up next year 😊 Back in our room & DH is watching the MotoGP races.
Sunday’s animal report: cows, sheep, horses, pigs, oystercatchers, wagtails, starlings, seagulls + DH saw a pheasant & I saw 2 llamas.
Time to catch up on the cheerleading - at least a little 🤞
weenancy, pleased to hear that the monthly book sale went so well & that more people are finding you 👏 Love the exciting plans for next year - the librarian is a marvel 🤩 The library as a community hub - what a great idea 🥹 Excellent decluttering 👏 hopefully once the bags of cans & bottles & the larger items are gone you will start to notice a difference 🤞Lovely to hear that your sister is still helping out 👏 & I am ever hopeful that your roommates are ‘actually’ pitching in with the decluttering 🙏 Your weather sounds just right - not too hot 🙂
Lovely post Moorviews 😊 Despite today’s rain we are still thoroughly enjoying ourselves 🙂 Yippee to putting away the winter coats - hopefully they won’t be needed now until late November 🤞 Great work finishing the post holiday laundry & also managing to do some gardening 👏 Hope the weather stays fine so that curtains & sofa covers can dry outside 🤞
TC77, Scotland certainly has some wonderful biking roads & when the weather is dry you really can’t beat a holiday in Scotland 😊 Now, now ‘wagging finger emoji’ please remember it has taken years & years to fill your house & as long as you keep plugging away you WILL start to notice a difference 🥹 Please stay safe in the heat 🙏
Not a great success at catching up with the cheerleading but I am nodding off 🙊 Sleep tight 😴
P.S. Apologies that there are no pictures - DH forgot to airdrop any 😉MrsSD Awards: 💐 🌟 ❤️ ❤️ 🏅 💐 💐 💐 🏅🥉🏅 🎂 🌟⭐️⭐️❤️ 🍫🐾 😍🥇🥇 💐 🏆 ⭐️
