Hi all, sorry for not posting again, I have been busy but the weather has been so hot I kept falling asleep when I meant to post 😁. And now I have just lost a long post as I dropped my tablet and it shut off so just a quick update 😁.
Wednesday was cake decorating and then a union meeting, Thursday was mostly in the garden, Friday cooking for the freezer to take on holiday on Monday and today I have been sorting and ironing though I have more ironing to do. All these jobs while it's been about a gazillion degrees 😁, I had to apply a cold flannel several times 😂. I kept hydrated but that just meand more trips up to the bathroom 😂. I have been like a wet dish rag 😂.
OMG is anyone else getting messages to say the forum is verifying you are human? Just lost half the post again!
@Mrs SD fab photos, you are having a great trip 😁
Right going to post now before something else happens, hope you have all had a good summer solstice and hugs to anybody who would like one
Total up to 912, not going to type it out again 😂take care everyone

Hi, me again, thought you might like to see this beauty I spotted in the garden. It's an elephant hawk-moth. I have never seen one in the garden before so I was quite chuffed when I saw it 😁

The other day it asked me three times if I was human - and never was able to confirm it. So I turned it off and then tried again. Finally decided I was.12

Good morning 😊 I've been up since 5am - I was awake so I thought that I may as well get up and enjoy the cool bright early hours. Thank you for the kinds words about our cat. The house is very quiet as she was a cat that made her opinions and requirements known very loudly.
Ds and I moved the furniture around in the living room yesterday evening with a short break to help a neighbour who was locked out. There is now an interesting pile of paper work and other "stuff" that is destined for throwing out and charity shop bags once I've sorted through it. We dropped a black bin bag of things off to the charity shop last week so it's time to start another one. I'm also using up some of my yarn stash by making a hexi cardigan. I've just decluttered a large spider back to outside but I don't think that counts towards my total 😄
@weenancyinAmerica I was "human checked" several times last night and I was also unable to thank posts so I gave up eventually. It's working fine this morning.

Yesterday I
* cancelled my holiday to Scotland next month because of my very painful knee 😥🏴
* arranged for someone to come in and cook for me (and clean up afterwards)
* got a pair of crutches off Amazon to give me a bit more stability than just my stick
No declutterring since I’m barely able to stand at the moment.
Edit: managed a shower this morning unaided! 🥳😆16 -
Morning all. Hugs to all who need them. Off to Scotland this morning - all packed and ready to go to station at 9.30. Will be awol from posting until end of week.
584 Both lawns cut
585 Gardener came and cleared away more bushes and some heavy concrete in the way of potential fence. He took it all to tip.
586 Last of June cards all posted and 1st one for July (overseas)
587 Plastics to SM
588 Two meetings attended and papers shredded
589 Emails sent out for 2 meetings after I come back.
590 Random flowerbed in middle of lawn cleared - gardener finished last few bits as ground so hard.
Hunted through papers last night for something my sister needed in US - not much success but I realised I have two boxes relating to my mother's death and estate (2013) which I have just left. 90% of it can certainly go so I will tackle that long deferred but difficult frog when I come back.

Liverpool_Anne - yes I had to keep verifying that I was human.
I took in the delivery from M & S last night. There were loads of bunches of flowers - all given away this morning.
Lots of bread and bakery items. I was back and forth putting food in the freezer. I left Mr F at home as he can't help me now so safer to stay there.
Thunderstorm this morning but it cleared up but the time we left home for Church.
I am going to sort out stuff for the charity shop so my trolley is ready for tomorrow.

Hi all, I have done 3 sessions of ironing and been to the sm. OH has decided to do a fruit salad to take with us so lots of chopping going on in the kitchen atm. I am packing 😁.
I have had a message from Vulpix who is unable to get into the forum but wanted to let you all know they have bought a house 😁 . To quote Vulpix "it is minging" 😂 but I am sure by the time they have been moved in a week it will be sparkling. She says she might have to come back as a new name 😁
Right off to finish the packing
Take care everyone

just seen I've lost my post
Most of the day cleaning and tidying.... takes so long without any decluttering except ood food. Cleaned fridge and just having a rest having mopped floors so need to stay still before venturing anywhere. Always love line dried sheets.
Still more cleaning to do but had a lovely evening last night with friends.
yesterday cat bowl, instruction leaflet, 2 plastic wallets, pen, paper x 3
Today trousers in CS bag.
1090.
At friend's 12 of us eating outside and could see how much cutlery and crockery was used...hmm though have to ask if I'm going to entertain like that . However, I have lots of other things I can work on. And the friend who hosted is looking to move to a flat (kids grown up and moved away and widower) and previously lived abroad moving frequently so I think not so attached to belongings.
Can't remember if I mentioned someone talking about the 'endowment factor, whereby we increase the value of things we have' ... I think this happens with me thinking I can sell things for more pennies...13 -
Popping in to declare lots of things decluttered/used up over the weekend. I also dived into the freezer (the cold was quite nice given the heat) and rearranged one third of it so I now know what is in there to be used up. It's too easy to lose things in a chest freezer.I ventured into the loft earlier to find what I had done with school clothes from DS as it was the last date to order anything for DD today. Found the things I was looking for and I don't need anything more with a badge on it, so that's saved some money. Sadly I discovered a whole box of clothes that will fit DD now, so these are in the wash and I am not looking forward to wedging those in the wardrobe. For some reason, dealing with kids clothes I find very overwhelming and stressful. It's not helped by DD currently fitting into two different sizes and I look forward to getting rid of the smaller set when she grows out of them.I've decided to stop counting things in and out of the house as it is causing me more work/stress than help for the purpose I set it up (plus although I do bring things in, it is dwarfed by stuff I have no control over as gifts etc and so it's best not to concentrate on that). Instead, I will concentrate on getting the house in order/tidied and making sure everything is getting used up and decluttered is done little and often. As I receive packaging (mainly mailing bags), I refuse to recycle them and insist on reusing them (for charity donations or Buy Nothing pick ups). This is partly because I am usually the person receiving things in mailing bags and I expect that things coming in will offset things going out now. I've been trying to reduce my stash (takes up too much space in the cupboard) and have counted them at random intervals. Weirdly every time I count them I always have 25 of them.. it's a bizarre mystery. I guess you could say that is a win of sorts as I am obviously not bringing in more than is going out.Digital:
