@Florenceem - took roommate Di to emergency room last night. They have kept her and will be sending her to a nursing home for a few days. Seems that the cellulitis was lowering her blood pressure too much and she is on oxygen - which was making her too sleepy. Might have a check on the oxygen level for Mr. F.
Roommate being in hospital is going to mean a lot of shifting work for the rest of us to get her room ready for her to come home. Really have to shift her piles in the living room also. Trying to get new bookcases up and ready to go - will make a big difference in here. Just need to get some help.
Taking new cat into to be fixed tomorrow. Only major thing on calendar for this week, thank goodness.
Hope you are able to stay dry, warm, and avoid any black ice.

Evening all!
I've just realised after my big decluttering of clothes I don't really have a lot of choice work wise, so I'm going to have to buy some work trousers. We're allowed to wear jeans or trousers and I always wear jeans but I always end up ruining them! So in my bid for new trousers I plan on finding something to declutter that I don't use/need.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. @Florenceem could you ask the drs to check over Mr F, especially as he has had a few falls recently and is struggling to stay awake, he may need some extra help to get well. I worry that you are dealing with an awful lot..
Have had a productive day, lots listed on Vinty, already 2 sales, one posted off.. 1 to go tomorrow ☺️ it’s a good start 🥳
Have decluttered bits from the freezer for dinner and while OH was watching his fave Bigfoot programme I used the time to delete photos off my iPad and take notes of things to research/look up.
Cant believe how quickly the thread has sped along.. great to see everyone’s enthusiasm in regard to making a change in their lives.."There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇18 -
Didn't get to CS today but will aim to do so this weekend. 2 big bags here to go. Items include a heated blanket that I don't use, and a sun hat that doesn't fit DS.
Tjh1412, we might be moving at a similar time. No date yet.16 -
This evening I started photographing and writing descriptions for job lots of craft stuff I hope to sell on eBay. Only able to do in short bursts but I’m not on a time limit so it will do. Sold another couple of items on eBay, annoyed as blimming postie didn’t scan the one he collected today and it’s not a cheap item. Hopefully will be scanned on delivery or at least photographed so I am covered.Waiting on Foodbank collecting the reverse advent box that is now taking up half my sofa. I will transfer to bags when I know they are coming as I can’t lift the box! Managed to fill it with everything they said they were needing too. Yay me.Hope everyone is keeping warm, the wind here today was icy.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

1 pair Sunday undies binned.
1 glass of water knocked over on breakfast bar soaking papers being worked on and poured over food stocks stored underneath breakfast bar. Luckily missed iPad and phone and food stocks are stored in plastic boxes so no big damage and the boxes and floor had a good clean.
1 batch soup made for lunch today and tomorrow.
Christmas cards taken down - 1 has gone behind the sideboard which is too heavy for OH and I to move so it will have to stay there until such time as we have nothing better to do than empty the unit. It is one of the few things that doesn’t need decluttering attention.
So, my prescious energy was used to clean up the spillage instead of tidying bedroom although I have made a start on the bedroom and it shouldn’t take too long.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18 -
Very quiet day on the decluttering front today as was back at work….Did have a house of teenagers for the day so have decluttered food. Also burned through two tea lights in my office. I find a candle gives me a cozy vibe whilst I’m working. Finally I threw out a tiny christmas tree I’d been given. It has been sprayed with glitter so hadn’t survived well.Didn’t get to run to the hospice shop but hopefully will tomorrow the donations are ready in the car and I’ll endeavour to find a couple more things to add in. I did list a few bits on eBay as well. The woman from the free group called and collected the wrapping paper storage bag though.16

I'm another fan of the Pottery throwdown I was happy they didn't send anyone home as I always hate that they do in week one when they are still finding their feet 🙂
Another wet day so I had no need or incentive to go out and therefore no excuse not to tackle some clutter. When my sister stayed NYE I cleared the spare bedroom, some stuff into the smaller spare room and some into the wardrobe and drawers with the hope she didn't open any 🫣 so today I tackled some of those drawers. I set up some piles, rubbish, shredding, CS and keep. TBH my wardrobe is a work in progress I know it doesn't fit but it's contains some nice clothes and part of me wants to keep it just in case it fits again and the other more realistic part says CS it - I'll think on it as the space isn't needed for anything else at the moment. There is ornaments inherited from my mum 12 years ago on top of the wardrobe time to shake the guilt and rehome after all this time in boxes, nothing of value not even sentimental for me although it was for her.
sitting watching TV tonight I have shredded a pile of paperwork and tackled a magazine rack/holder, not used for magazines for years as I don't buy them, but has become a dumping ground. I've emptied it and most has gone into the recycling bin however i think it can go to the tip as it isn't good enough for the CS
I've two more full bags for life to go to the CS and about 20+ books some culled old cookery books which can either go to CS or will have to wait until the beginning of Feb as Petworth is closed for three weeks so I'm not volunteering until then. The contents of two bags for life have gone into the recycling bin.
one pack of Christmas fudge unfortunately declutterred in me whilst shredding shhh don't tell them on the weigh loss thread 🫣🤫🤐Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin17
