Happy Easter 🐣 I hope the sun is shining wherever you are ☀️
I shall enjoy being hosted today and will no doubt declutter some chocolate 😊
@Crazycatlady2 - congratulations on the house sale going through. I am sorry to hear about your husband’s poor health. It must be a very worrying time for you both while you try to find out what is wrong.@charlies_tribe - I am very impressed by how much you have cleared from your shed - well done!
@Blue_Doggy - I didn’t realise that the piles of snail shells meant that I might have a toad. I was wondering about hedgehogs or blackbirds. As long as someone is eating them I don’t mind! I am at the bindweed too. Great work on your decluttering!
@Dizzycap and @TC77 just love rocket dog and the slumbering cats 😍
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I was amazed when I first saw a mouse run straight up a wall. Glad to hear it was outside though!12 -
Happy Easter everybody from me and my soap dispenser bunny who has a 3-d tail

Happy Easter everyone
Loving the soap dispenser @regnbue. I’ve got a small Easter egg tree out, picked up a few bits in the sales last year but after being told the kitchen was being ripped out at some point I’ve not really popped any other bits out but slowly packing up the kitchen and sorting it out,
Decluttering in the physical sense has been very slow.
i have however for the past 2 weeks had to keep working on important legal tadpoles that couldn’t be left and writing reports that were taking all weekend. Hopefully just one left to do when paperwork arrives next month but it wiped me out. I don’t often have an acute fatigue attack now, I remember a bad one when I was 18 and usually get post surgery. It was bad when i couldn’t even get upstairs and I have a stairlift!!!!
However after a couple of days of tlc I’m back to it. I’ve also been given homework by pain physio to read up on some specific articles and what i would agree on and disagree on which will prob come in useful for the work that I do aswell. I suspect I’m going to be used as a human guinea pig again which I have done in the past when I have had the time.
So besides homework still to declutter I have listed a few more bits on V,
184) decluttered an Easter egg from bestie, I’m out for food later
185) decluttered a huge bag of soft plastics to the local supermarket recycling point
Im not going to count yet until they leave the house but this weekend has enabled me to make up some Christmas shoeboxes, (hoping to drop off soon with a bag of neutral items) included in them are some items I was given that I have used in the shoeboxes. If I can get 4 completed to leave the house I will be really happy but pleased with what I have done so far. I also had a sort out of my shoebox stash last night
186) a game out that had bits missing-recycling
187) bracelet binned that was broken and there were bits everywhere.
188)-189) 2 bits of jewellery that looked tatty and not really fit for the shoeboxes-binned.190) did recycle a bracelet DD didn’t want into one of the shoeboxes
191) present decluttered to bestie
Happy Easter everyone, enjoy today whatever the day holds.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning All, thankyou for the thoughts and good wishes re family member. Taking it a day at a time, further results back next week. We are going to have a break and visit my parents for a few days. Close enough if we need to get back but will be a change of scene.
Declutterring wise I managed to do the recycling thing in boots and get one voucher. To faffy to do another, so just recycled all the blister packs (about 70 of them) and other bits.
Have also been swimming and then allotment on Saturday morning to kick start it for this year.
141-215 - Blister packs & toiletries recycled
216 - old nail varnish binned
217-219 - 3 wheel barrels full of weeds at allotment.
220 - 240 - items to give to family members.
Off to put washing on the line and try to tidy the house. Meat in slow cooker for a roast later, will prep veg, then just stuffing and homemade yorkshire puddings to make.
Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday.15 -
Happy Easter Sunday everyone ! I'm doing a load in the wm which will be hung out as the sun is shining, first time it's shined here for over a week, then I have the spare bedding to wash from when the DGC stayed. There's a strong biting wind so they can have a good blow (the bedding I mean, not the DGC 🤣)
I have a leg of lamb to cook for today but as there's only 2 of us I'll portion it up and freeze the leftovers. I'm going to put up 2 dinners for my Dad too and I'll take them to him when I go to see him on Tuesday. No Easter eggs here but to my surprise the DGC left some sweeties last weekend so they'll have to do. They ate anything else that wasn't nailed down though, plus I did give them Easter eggs and some money in exchange 😁.
A few things have left chez nous but nothing major except a large bag of paperbacks and a computer monitor. Sadly DD gave me a bag of hardback books which I've yet to home and they're still sat in the bag in the office 🤔
I hope everyone can have a good day whatever you are doing, hugs to the poorly ones and anyone struggling at present.
nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently17 -
Morning @Fizz2015 I hope you have a lovely few days away.
@Happy_Kitties good luck with the legal tadpole.
Accepted I can't work in one area, but have to take the item to the right place and then start there and that takes me somewhere else in the house but at least things get done.
Abandoned long walk idea as knees feel dodgy but will ask friend to have a stroll near the donation hub which is accepting things this pm (suitcase full of kitchen and other stuff to go).
Make up bag to recycling
Paper stuff x 4
Film canister
CS
Packaging x 2
Posh waterbottle without lid - keep meaning to try and get a new lid as expensive but noticed slight dent so out an my v cheap waterbottles work fine!
Emailed about faulty item and how I can mend.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Easter Sunday: overcast & dull at 10:00 with a forecast high of 15°C & low of 6°C. Everyone is up as we have been invited to lunch by DH’s niece S & will need to set off in about 90 minutes. Straight into cheerleading:
Florenceem, I was pleased to hear that MrF attended the Good Friday service with you 😊 Great work doing the stock take on the freezer 👏 I did smile at This “I am feeling the urge to make pastry and pizza dough and now can see what I need to use up.” 😁 Hope you managed to satisfy your urge 😉
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 & well done on reducing your ‘net’ number 👏 Good luck with the food cupboards cleaning & stock take 🍀
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Well done resisting the temptation to keep all the pens that DD2 decluttered 👏 Good luck with the email frog 🍀
Excellent work going through CDs Brambling 👏 reminds me I need to sort mine 😉 This “ I realised I've been overlooking a carrier bag in the spare bedroom, walking past it!” sounds very familiar 😅 almost like it is hiding in plain sight 😉
sqwiffy, the table looks wonderful 😊 Well done to your DH 👏 A bit naughty of the insurance company 🤨 Lovely cheerleading 😊
Dizzycap, I had never considered This “……I've found recently that listening to music through my headphones for 20-30 minutes at a time while decluttering office paperwork; especially when listening to semi-heavy metal which I hate, makes me get a bat on with the decluttering that I've been avoiding as the sooner I finish, the sooner I can switch the God aweful music off and have a peaceful coffee break…..” what a marvellous idea 👏 Although not quite sure what music would work for me 🤔 A busy Friday 👏 so am relieved to hear that you managed to have a nap 😊 even if it was only because it was raining 😉 Loving the continuing escapades of babyface 🥹 Shame you haven’t seen the fox cubs other than on screen 😔 Will keep my fingers crossed that they are a little braver & stick around the next time you turn the lights on 🤞
Lovely post TC77 😊
Beautiful cheerleading Moorviews 😍 Excellent decluttering of paperwork 👏 especially being able to burn some of it 😊
YBR, hope you had a lovely time away 😊 Crikey you were up early 😥 - 4 loads of washing done by 10:00 🤩 Not surprised that you aren’t attempting to catch up with 100+ pages 😉 The EDT is still playing chase with the Japanese bullet train 😂
Just finished my cuppa, so a perfect time to stop & post 🙂 Hope everyone has a lovely day 😊

We had a nice walk into town yesterday afternoon.
Posted parcels off for V.
Met my daughter's Fil and had a chat.
Bus home.
Up early this morning as we left home at 8 to help with breakfast at Church. Catered for 40 - we had a full English breakfast.
Mountains of washing up to do - I was drying up.
We had the service - well attended.
Loads of food to give out as shops closed today. I got men to help me - carry crates from the back room down to the main hall. Lots of sandwiches and bread/bakery items to be given away.
Children were all were given Easter eggs.
Had a visit from two daughters and granddaughter this afternoon.
