Hi all, most of yesterday was spent dealing with the union thing but I have passed it on to someone higher in the food chain now 😁 and will just have a watching brief 😁. The lr bin was emptied and I went to the footy after tea so was home late but didn't get to bed until the early hours and slept like a log so only getting organised now 😂. The footy result was good so we have a little trip to Wembley to look forward to 😁 hopefully I can get a ticket 👃. I have a small list 😁 which includes washing but the weather today is miserable, grey and overcast so not expecting any to line dry so have to be mindful of the space on the maiden 😂.
@Dizzycap I have had 3 dashunds in my life, one when I was a child in Zimbabwe who was my constant companion until we returned to the UK and my dsis has had 2, one still here at the age of 17 and I looked after him for 2 weeks last year when my dsis went on holiday. Sweet dogs but my dsis spoils hers rotten 😂
Right I better get on with something or the day will be gone. Hugs to everyone who would like one.

I did it. I did the wardrobe!
Two full bin liners of clothes donated to charity. I then realised I didn't have any jeans so went to the sale and got two pairs for £14. It's given me an indication of what clothes I need and what I have too many of.
The drawers are clear and wardrobes do need re-arranging but they're clear now to be able to do.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x19 -

~FlowerPot~ - thanks for the kind offer. Mr F's feet are more comfy now.
oceanspirt - I never wear black to a funeral. As a Christian - I believe the departed one has gone to be with Jesus. There is sadness from those who miss the person but they are no longer suffering.
I took donations to both charity shops - nearly blown over in the street by the harbour.
I got the local paper and flowers for my friend from Asd. after getting off the bus.
SA was busy - food bank day - I just popped in and was gone.
While I was out - a nurse visited unannounced - Mr F called out that he couldn't come to the door - nurse was talking through the letterbox! Nurse is now coming tomorrow afternoon as they want to check Mr F over the weekend.
I have sorted all 26 bags now.
My shopping trolley and a bag are packed ready for tomorrow morning.
I have done one of the jobs on my list - cleared/tidied and cleaned the top of a storage unit in my craft room.
We had a roast pork dinner again - afternoon break will be chocolate pudding and vanilla ice cream.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hi, been awol again.
Went to the stroke clinic yesterday at the hospital 45 miles away. Several roads closed so some very nice new to me roads travelled. The up shot of all the tests is that my liver is taking it upon itself to misbehave and make cholesterol willy nilly! Hence bombarding it into submission with medication. All in all if I had to have a blood clot, I think I have got off lightly with the one I had.
We then traversed the country to Nottinghamshire for a meal with Mr V's old band mates. 2 hours of reminisces recorded for future scribing for my book idea. We said we would do it all again in a few months.
I also have a grim cold so all I am doing is sleeping night and day. I have cancelled knitting gang,
Nothing whatsoever de cluttered as I have either not been here or asleep.
I remember we had a time trying to dispose of a sharps box from MIL's. I think the District nurse took it in the end.
Take care everyone

@scandimore - check your local council for their policy on sharps bins - although GP Practice and District Nurse should know.
Just a quick post as windows not quite finished as two panes of toughened glass for large lounge windows were scratched when they arrived. Fitters have used temporary single glazing and hope replacements will be here soon. Kitchen door glass fitted and looks very nice. I have decluttered significant amounts of milk, coffee, sugar and biscuits this week. Fitters were, however, very polite and considerate.
231 Carpet and underlay decluttered from main bedroom. For collection tomorrow.
232-233 Two large windows decluttered and replaced
234 Random rubbish found in main bedroom put into a bin bag
235 Sorted and cleaned shelf with spices, honey etc - had got very sticky
Just had some difficult news. Won't go into detail but involves family member.

Evenin' all! A combination of working and my thyroid meds needing adjusting means I haven't really had a huge amount of get up and go for other stuff, including posting on here. So here's the total for January:
45GB data deleted
105 items to recycling
1050 emails deleted (50= 1 to the total)
4 bags of recycling escorted to the downstairs bins
9 binbags, 30 items per bag taken out = 270
Meters read
1 full bin of shredding
Leaflets from communal hallway put in recycling twice.
So that's 449 routine things for January 2025.
Have a good weekend, all: may there be a little bit of sunshine and a pocket full of happiness.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

- I finished reading a Library book, so will declutter it next week.
- Ironing basket completely decluttered.
- Ironing basket recluttered following 2 launderette wash loads (equal to 4 domestic ones).
- Last year’s credit card and other till receipts put into envelopes (for analysis to see where the dosh is going, but will remain unanalysed until everything else is done) they were in various piles, heaps or containers.
- dead flowers decluttered to garden waste bin
- two frogs dealt with (one turned out to be just a tadpole which had inflated itself to giant size)
Wishing everyone a good weekend, and speedy recovery of health to those who are poorly or care for others who are poorly.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Evening
I finally decluttered 4 empty sweet tubs to the pub (tub 2 pub campaign), after driving round with them for weeks!
Have ordered our next book for Book Club from the library - I usually do this so I don't buy books - I love books but the Book Club choices are not often ones I want to keep or read again!
Wishing everyone a peaceful evening
Love Deni
