I just rang them, the nice lady was apologetic for the inconvenience & following is the gist.
This should save many their time & also not clog the Monmouth lines
1. They are aware of the issue. It is building society wide problem, their IT is looking into it. They do not have a time line for resolution, but they are trying to get it done today.
2. The money isnt sent to source account, its sat in their (Monmouth) account
3. There wont be any interest loss, once resolved, the interest will be backdated to 1 Dec if they received money on 1 Dec.
4. If they resolve it today before EOD, it wont be reflected in the app/online, until tomorrow.31 -

Yes, I have too. Just checked after I saw your message. My Issue 8 has gone really awol....I paid in £500 which has been credited in 2 payments as £375 & £125 and then -£125 was reversed - making a total payment of £375 for December?! My November payment of £500 has also been changed in my Issue 8 from a single £500 payment to 2 payments of £450 & £50, respectively? As for the Branch exclusive & App exclusive both payments were received into the RSs for December and then reversed. No monies (£1625) have been returned into the sending account, but they might show in the respective RSs , be returned tomorrow, or someones gone Christmas shopping!
