where_are_we said:Hanley Smart Saver - I applied not as an existing customer (closed account only) and this was successful. Lots of stuff prepopulated, immediately got email confirmation and online got account details with same username - so no customer duplication. However no COP as yet but I was able to override and make the deposit.
I have application reference number but i'm completely new customer, so no online access yet.0 -

Then I clicked on Enquire Now and followed the link to login and apply, but it gave me the same view as before. Nowhere to actually apply for the account..0

Can't help if you're using Safari - Apple-free zone here. Someone will know where to look.0 -

Existing customers shouldn’t need to ignore the direction to log in and proceed as though a new customer, surely?

First login, and when you can see your account(s) press on the "rectangle with two lines underneath" button, then on the "three dots" button:
That should then open up a new screen, and simply select "Request Desktop Site".
Hopefully that'll work.

Hanley 1 Year Online Smart Saver
I logged in as an existing customer and everything was pre-populated which made it quick to complete, but got an 'application is currently unavailable message' immediately after paying by debit card which was somewhat worrying. However, I checked the app (which until now was home to pocket change in a lonely instant access saver) and the new account along with the £300 deposit was showing0 -

So if it’s annual interest every August, then August 2026 you will receive interest from period October 2025 - August 2026, but the rest of the interest for your 12 month term towards the back end (when most interest is accrued due to higher balance) will only be paid in August 2027? Approx 10 months after maturity?
