Hopefully they'll launch it with an e version tomorrow, although I wasn't expecting it until next week. I seem to recall the online one being the hold up last year.friolento said:Gers said:easysaver said:Moneyfacts showing Yorkshire BS £50 Regular Saver @ 8%. Not currently showing on YBS.co.uk
Previously indicated by @Bridlington1 although iirc the rate was unknown at the time.
Moneyfacts indicating opening only in branch or by post! Seems a bit backward for YBS.
I can't see this account on Moneyfacts at all now0 -
Think I'll pass on that, very poor rate which means it's just a prize draw account with no guarantee of winning anything.Bridlington1 said:Coventry BS are launching a Sunny Day Saver (2) at 4.3% (var), £150/mth, unlimited withdrawals.
In addition it comes with prize draws, See below for details:

Is the new Coventry payable on 1st of month or on anniversary?0
-
It goes by calendar month so you could pay in again on 1st if you wish.liamcov said:Is the new Coventry payable on 1st of month or on anniversary?2 -
It is random, but £10.01 just doesn't sound right!jameseonline said:

But at least now, l will know what account that cash is going to.
When all your external accounts are your first and last name, it can get confusing just glancing through them.3 -
Coventry BS Sunny Day Saver (2) ....
From the T&C's................9.4 Eligibility
..................................
(b) The Montly Prize Draw and the Additional Prize Draw is not open to:
.............
iii. any individual who is named on more than one Sunny Day Saver (2) (only the first account opened will be eligible and any further accounts will not be eligible).
Just pointing this out to avoid potential disappointment for those obtaining multiple accounts!
p.s. Montly ... not my typing mistake!

It's not a blanket exclusionKim_13 said:
I may be wrong but I thought those laws had changed in the last few years.Hattie627 said:
I've opened this, very quick process as an existing member and CoP works immediately. Have deposited £20 and set up SO for monthly deposits of £20 from 1 October. For the few pennies loss on a low deposit due to the poor interest rate, it's worth a punt on the monthly prize draws plus the big draw on 14th Aug 2026. Interestingly, Northern Ireland residents don't seem to be excluded from the prize draws as they usually are (something to do with lottery laws there). Perhaps an error by Coventry?Bridlington1 said:Coventry BS are launching a Sunny Day Saver (2) at 4.3% (var), £150/mth, unlimited withdrawals.

Either way, good on them for making the account available there, even if they can't receive the prizes. Monmouthshire's blanket exclusion of NI residents feels wrong.
