Coventry BS are launching a Sunny Day Saver (2) at 4.3% (var), £150/mth, unlimited withdrawals.

In addition it comes with prize draws, See below for details:
    https://secure.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/savings-and-investments/application/SpecificTermsAndConds.aspx?prodCode=SDS2

Note the account is ineligible for inclusion on the first page of this thread owing to the thresholds.
I've opened this, very quick process as an existing member and CoP works immediately. Have deposited £20 and set up SO for monthly deposits of £20 from 1 October. For the few pennies loss on a low deposit due to the poor interest rate, it's worth a punt on the monthly prize draws plus the big draw on 14th Aug 2026. Interestingly, Northern Ireland residents don't seem to be excluded from the prize draws as they usually are (something to do with lottery laws there). Perhaps an error by Coventry?
I may be wrong but I thought those laws had changed in the last few years.

Either way, good on them for making the account available there, even if they can't receive the prizes. Monmouthshire's blanket exclusion of NI residents feels wrong.

    Opened and funded with £10.
    It's not a blanket exclusion

Moneyfacts showing Yorkshire BS £50 Regular Saver @ 8%. Not currently showing on YBS.co.uk

Previously indicated by @Bridlington1 although iirc the rate was unknown at the time.

YBS £50 RS now showing as 6% on moneyfacts after disappearing this afternoon.

    £50/mth max
    3 withdrawal days per year
Can skip months if you wish
    £600 max balance
Interest rate variable if my sources were correct.
    I still can’t see it

Did you adjust the investment amount to £1 instead of the usual £100 showed as default before launching the search? The RS is showing correctly in that case.
Didn’t think of that - thank you, now showing 😀

I will be giving this one a miss. Due to the low monthly limit of £50  it would only earn me around £4 more than just leaving the money in my easy access savings accounts

Me too. I have Dudley, Monmouthshire and Darlington all opened recently, and Melton Issue 6 running for another year, so £1,450 of capacity at 6% variable (in addition to any of my soon to be maturing fixes that can be replaced.) At £50 per month you’d expect them to beat that rate.

Disappointing... 6% is below my current minimum threshold, Monmouthshire have really shaken things up!

This account is showing on the YBS website now, not that I'm rushing out to claim it. It's a bit of a joke when you put it up against the likes of Monmouth and to be fair a lot of other accounts available.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

For 8% I would have grabbed it. For 6% and max £50 I really can’t be bothered.
