You're new here, aren't you? T&C's are only meaningful if they are enforced ..... according to many frequent contributors to this thread!kermchem said:s71hj said:Then somebody will come up with a cunning strategy to open both!
All current YBS regular savers appear to have both an e and a branch/postal version with the T&Cs saying that you cannot have both, or more than one (unless joint).I may be new here, but I have lurked for a while.Oops, I seem to have more than one PrincipalityBS 6 month RS account of the same issue.I don't have both app and branch Exclusive MonBS accounts for the reason that I cannot fill both. I am one of those people for whom MonBS offering 7% (variable) on £1000 a month has set a new floor to where I save. Now, if YBS are going to offer 8% online and/or in branch on £50 a month, are you suggesting that a bus ticket to a local branch is worthwhile to check their T&Cs? (Bus cheaper than stamp on postal application)

Previously indicated by @Bridlington1 although iirc the rate was unknown at the time.
Moneyfacts indicating opening only in branch or by post! Seems a bit backward for YBS.
I can't see this account on Moneyfacts at all now0 -

I'm the wrong person to ask for advice on looking at "cunning strategies" (nicely put, BTW!). While I would wish anyone good luck if inclined to chance multiple applications/conversions etc, I am not one to knowingly do so myself, if it is obviously against any relevant clear T&C's.kermchem said:Bobblehat said:

Someone is bound to chip in with their version of a "cunning strategy", in this case.
Compiler of the RS League Table.

Hopefully they'll launch it with an e version tomorrow, although I wasn't expecting it until next week. I seem to recall the online one being the hold up last year.friolento said:Gers said:easysaver said:Moneyfacts showing Yorkshire BS £50 Regular Saver @ 8%. Not currently showing on YBS.co.uk

Think I'll pass on that, very poor rate which means it's just a prize draw account with no guarantee of winning anything.Bridlington1 said:Coventry BS are launching a Sunny Day Saver (2) at 4.3% (var), £150/mth, unlimited withdrawals.
In addition it comes with prize draws, See below for details:
