Bridlington1 posts on the archived thread to this effect: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6470420/the-archived-history-of-regular-savers-thread-no-chat#latestHattie627 said:Just a suggestion, maybe has already been discussed and rejected, just an idea.
How about a thread dedicated to the launch of new Regular Savers? Anybody could add a post about a new RS which has been launched, giving basic details. To avoid clutter, just one post per launch. Discussion about opening issues (and everything else) about the new account could then continue on the present thread.
I think ALL the discussion on this thread is helpful, but new launches can sometimes get overlooked in the chat.8 -
Page 1 of this thread also posts "Recent Additions" in a neat and concise way!Kim_13 said:

Is the Principality First Steps Issue 5 RS limited to five years (max £50,000) as per page 1 or open ended with a £50,000 holding limit. I cannot find mention of 5 years in the T's & C's.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to this forum.1 -
All sorted and got both payments in for Oct and Nov.roked said:
Yes it should do, principality seem to credit accounts automatically, its just down to how fast the 'faster payment' isBob2000 said:PRINCIPALITY XMAS REGULAR SAVER.

Nationwide regular saver.
If l open this account with the intention of funding my first deposit on Sunday 30th, then my second Monday, 1st Dec. Will it work, or does Nationwide only do the next working day?

Yes that will work, as myself and many others will have done similar in the past.Bob2000 said:Nationwide regular saver.

You're quite correct, there is no maturity date, the listing has now been updated accordingly, apologies for the misinformation.londoner62 said:Bridlington1

The previous issues of this account had a 5 year term but they did a restructuring earlier in the year, bringing out the current issue and then converting any previous issues of the account into the new issue. They must've dropped the 5 year term as part of this but I didn't update this in the listing.5 -
I don't think it will, as Nationwide will date an internal transfer on a Sunday as Monday (therefore both payments would be in December.)GetRichOrDieSaving said:

Before the cut off on Saturday and Monday, yes.1 -
All my payments into my Flex Regular Saver have been dated the 1st, even when sent on the weekend. For example this month, the 1st fell on a Saturday and payment went through no problem and was dated accordingly.Kim_13 said:

My previous Flex Reg (Issue 3) had payments go through on the weekend with a statement date of the following working day, however, each payment was listed with the effective date of the 1st.
Based on this a payment of the Sunday should go through ok. It may get a statement date of the 1st but an effective date of the 30th which is all that should matter.
EDIT: I'll add to this from the following Nationwide page (which is always hard to find) Payment and transfer limits | Nationwide
1. Payments between Nationwide accounts should be instant
2. Standing orders to Nationwide accounts should go out of the chosen date.
EDIT2: Just realised the OP never mentioned if they would be funding directly from a Nationwide current account. Poor assumption on my part as the top image only applies if the payment is made for a Nationwide CA0
