MHBS have withdrawn their Fixed Term RS 30/09/26 (5.8% fix) AND their Ltd Edn Branch RS 04/11/26 (6% fix)
    https://mhbs.co.uk/savings-information/current-interest-rates-for-withdrawn-products/

    No replacements shown.
I had an email from them the other day about the upcoming maturity (30/11) and saying that options would be given about two weeks before. It would be nice if this included some sort of replacement for maturing accounts.

it has been reported to be possible to withdraw by secure message/phone without posting in the passbook...
I've made a few withdrawals from Melton by phone and secure message...

Does the new Melton BS website still have secure messages? I didn't have the old platform, but can't see messages anywhere now. Maybe they stopped them, or maybe I'm being blind! 🫣 🙈

"Help & Support" in the portal just leads to the general website page www.themelton.co.uk/help-and-support . I also looked for secure messages under the top right initials & signpost icons, to no avail.

I haven't found any method of secure messaging.
I have found them to be excellent calling by phone in the past though.

It looked as though it is now possible to request withdrawals yourself online, so perhaps they have taken the view that it is no longer needed.

I'd prefer they put it back though, as a) Some customers prefer to have a record of everything rather than communicating by phone and b) A non-urgent issue that could have been resolved by secure message may be adding to the phone queue when another customer actually needs to speak to someone.

The lack of quote meant I had to search on the previous page, but I'm still none the wiser as to which of the half a dozen building societies mentioned there you are referring to.

It was from the last 2 posts, after I asked about Melton BS's website (Regular 5)
