I'm afraid it was noted about a month or so ago, they launched new versions of their online and branch RSs with the same rate but the November maturity dates.

Not noticed this before,  the online account shows an interest rate of approx 1%. Is this related to the slightly odd bonus thingy ... I think I've (up to present day) met all the conditions for the bonus, so wondering if this is normal .

Absolutely normal. The bonus is paid on 31/12 if all conditions met

Scottish Bs painfully slow. SO sent last night from Lloyds and still no signs of it. Anyone had better luck? Even Melton today was quicker, Principality still at the top of the table. Deposit sent at 2 am and duly reported 50 minutes later

I always used the YBS app on my phone, but logged on one day from my iPad. I then was unable to log in using my phone. It didn’t allow 2 devices. I had to reinstall on my phone and it sorted itself out. So maybe it’s the same for you?

My Gatehouse RS Issue 2 has been credited with interest ahead of maturity tomorrow (04.11.25) and I have instructed a full balance transfer to my nominated account.

Mines maturing on 5/11/25 and I've just taken a look, to see if there are any maturity options/instructions.  I couldn't see any thing like that, so I'm just wondering how you gave instructions ?  Was it a future dated transfer or did you send a message or something else ?

Sadly nothing to replace the issue 2.  As I recall the issue 2 wasn't available for that long and there hasn't been anything RS shaped since from Gatehouse.  I had a look at new accounts and no RS or actually anything that outstanding.

Leeds BS RS Maturity

What happens to Leeds BS RS when they mature ? Do they become an EA or similar account ? Also, how easy and quick is it to transfer the matured money back to nominated ?  Anything to be careful of with Leeds ?

I've never had a Leeds BS RS long enough for it to mature. One thing to note though is that in my experience Leeds BS don't allow withdrawals by faster payment from their RS online but do allow withdrawals by faster payment over the phone.

Withdrawals by faster payment arrive the following working day so avoid making withdrawals by phone on Fridays or indeed any working day where the next day's a non-working day to minimise the time your money spends in transit earning no interest.
