Slinky said:Slightly off topic, we tried opening a NatWest ISA for OH yesterday, which although it has issued an account number, hasn't appeared on his account list. Annoyingly I transferred £5K to our joint account yesterday in anticipation of moving it into the ISA. He has a Regular Saver with them which I previously emptied as he's nearing his £500 PSA, so I've just moved the £5K into the RS to see what would happen, and it's accepted the transfer. Will they bounce this back to the joint account I wonder or leave it?It depends when you emptied the NWest RS? I know that you can withdraw funds and replace them within the same month, but not sure about withdrawing and replacing in different months? The Natwest RS may appear to have accept the 5k transfer back and I hope it does; please let us folks on MSE know if it does, but if not; it will eventually after a few days, bounce back into the joint account. From experience of an accidental over payment of £150 into my NW RS, it took 6 days for the overpayment to be returned to my NWest current account.--**MONEYFACTS**-- FULL List of Money Comparison Products + News / Guides--Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# Regular Savers 2026- New 9/12 - Total: 31 (6)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £355.02 / £667.95 (6)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £8492.37 / £12,000 (6)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £710.56 / £1825 (6)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (22/10) 426 / £400 (6)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1255 / £2880 (6).# Decluttering Challenge (6)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto: 'SAVE before you spend on Non-essentials'1

Opened an easy saver account with them today to make my life easier on Monday and be already a member. It took 5 minutes, 1 pound sent with my Visa Debit and immediately on the account on line. Nominated account registered also in no time. Easy, simple, immediate.clairec666 said:Progressive - never had an account with them before, so appreciate others sharing their experiences. 7% is worth snapping up, I don't mind accounts which are a bit slow or quirky for that rate.1 -

Online access still not available, that's just about a week.
I'd quite like to know if my monthly deposit to their RS has been credited.3 -
Why would you doubt that your monthly deposit has been credited ?flaneurs_lobster said:Melton BS

Old school, I do 30+ manual FPs to RSs on the 1st of month, next working day I go back and check that all the credits have been applied (ie I haven't buggered up or forgotten one).subjecttocontract said:

No sign of Issue 4 of the Progressive RS at 7%. I managed to open a fixed bond with them yesterday just in case it was members only. ATM it's just showing issue 3 at 5.5%.0

Just failed ID Check (even though I'm an existing member), probably due to well shonky selfie on my laptop.
I'll try later with some better kit.0
