Didn't we know that the 5.45% rate wouldn't last long at YBS

Seeing as they've (YBS) only just sent me this email offering that's absolutely scandalous that it's not mentioned (in the email)kamkop said:

I have just applied fir this account. The impending rate drop is prominently highlighted. They couldn’t have made it any clearer.flaneurs_lobster said:

Just a reminder that the Co-operative Bank Regular Saver at 7% is still available and we are now 30 days from the start of the new tax year.
Given that the Co-op regular saver matures and pays interest on the anniversary of you making your first deposit, if you apply for the account now it is now possible to push the payment of its interest into the 2026-27 tax year, which may be useful for some.12 -
Those fortunate enough to have multiple issues of the Principality BS First Home Steps RS may want to check that Principality have correctly merged their accounts.AndyTh_2 said:Principality BS First Home Steps
Seems they are going to convert previous issues to the issue 5 on 6th March (I just got an email about it for my issue 3).
It seems that as well as merging all the previous issues into a issue 5 as previously communicated, they also merged any other issue 5 account that you already had open which they hadn't notified you about as "you can only have one issue 5 account".
This means that if your balance exceeds 50k in the merged account, you can't continue to contribute to Issue 5 even though the reason you would have had two of the same issue is solely down to PBS's decision to merge issues..
I suspect I will have to log a complaint to get this resolved..1 -
CLUB LLOYDS RS
If your only reason for having the Club Lloyds current account is access to the Club Lloyds RS: you only need to have the CL current account at the time of applying for the CL RS.Once your CL RS is open, you can immediately downgrade your CL current account to the fee-free Classic account. All doable in minutes, and does not affect the operation or interest rate of the CL RS.6 -
I agree it's on the websitefriolento said:

It's absolutely nowhere on the email though with the, soon to be expired, rate the largest font on the whole email.
That's just shoddy click bait when the rate drop is sooo near
