West Bromwich winter ready
Having sorted out the issue with ID 2 days ago my OH had not had any welcome emails so we decided to phone again this afternoon. All the details discussed again and the assistant said it would be sorted.
Feeling not very confident about this but as soon as OH came off the phone a text came though and then checked the emails and there was the welcome email with the account number and sort code - so it looks like the application has sat on someone's desk for 2 days being ignored.
Funded it and set up the SO - COP not recognizing the number but that was to be expected.
Then I went to set up the PIN and got all the way through to submit only to get the screen saying something gone wrong and to try again later ... which I will do but over the weekend.
Sure this is the same sequence of events as I did with mine - didnt wait for a follow up email with instructions on how to to set up the pin, just went ahead and did it
Otherwise its another call to WestBrom on Monday

West Bromwich winter ready - they do seem to be slow in opening these, I have just had to chase them having filled in the application online on the 5th1

Will this be available to all or just current members? Instore took about five mins to get sorted and funded. I understand that if the issue had been branch opening only the monthly maximum would have been at least double.mon3ysav3r said:West Bromwich winter ready - they do seem to be slow in opening these, I have just had to chase them having filled in the application online on the 5th1 -
Another 10 month RS and less than £250 a month. Hope this isn`t going to becoming the norm for RS`s. On the other hand the interest rate is excellent so I am not complaining too much!1

I was asking about maturity options for a Xmas RS Issue 2 and if there would be another RS. I didn't ask and wasn't told if there would be any other restrictions like postal/branch applications or post code restrictions. To be fair to Furness BS though, they seem be embracing online solutions more recently. If you're not already a member, there are a couple of accounts you can open online with a min bal of £1 :8 -
If not done so already, check your junk mail folder. I applied for WB Winter Ready & was surprised to notice that the ‘welcome/your account is now open’ email had landed in my junk mail folder as opposed to my normal inbox.mon3ysav3r said:West Bromwich winter ready - they do seem to be slow in opening these, I have just had to chase them having filled in the application online on the 5th1
