Sounds like a perfect day, hope you enjoyed your relaxing day. Have you managed any pampering? I had loads of face products for Chrimbo so did a mini facial yesterday. It's not worked a miracle just yet, but think I might need to do it more than once!!2

Boys at their dads for a few hours so I went for a ride, bit of shopping, walked dog, showered and now in bed watching my new telly for about 30mins until the boys return. Feels like a good NYE so far!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 208/550

Moved the boys bedrooms around, DS2 having a friend for a sleepover which was the inspiration. Hopefully the bedroom switch will work out better for us all. Lost my telly in the process to DS2 new room! But I will hopefully get another for my room in the future 🤞🏼🤗. Got more sorting to do to finalise the room swap, that will have to wait as I’m over it today, and I have to take the tree decs down. Might do that today or wait until we return from our little overnight trip to a friends. Just having a sit down and chill out before sleepover funs commence. Packing myself!

Will steal it back when DS’ at their dads, and actually that’s the only time I’ll get to lay in bed and watch it anyway?! Boys happy so I’m happy. Happy new year @Justcrackingonwithit 🥳Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 208/550

Been awake since 5:30am 😩 got a 4 hour journey to a friends to complete soon. I’m debating going my back to sleep for an hour but then I’ll feel like I’ve only had that hour, and the DS and friend will surely wake as soon as I doze off?! Owww what to do! Anyway, house wise things are looking ok. Dining room area needs some work. And moving boys wardrobe contents. I’ll try and do that this weekend 🤞🏼 and see how I go with a bit of the dining room.Finances are tight. I’m budgeting hard now and must stay frugal for the rest of the month. I’m definitely eating less and just because I got fed up of all the food at Xmas so ate less - weirdly, stomach has shrunk I think. I’m waking up hungry, which is a good thing for me as it means I didn’t overeat dinner which has been a big downfall previously.I hope to enjoy a lovely couple of days away with the boys and be relaxed and have a productive weekend too before back to school/work on Monday.Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 208/550
