Goood Morning all! Today I am going to a health job fair, I have no idea what I am going to find I have 10 CVs ready to distribute and I have a nice top to wear! I called about the job and they said they would make their decision on Friday so I may hear something then! But in the mean time job fair!

I am on 9/19 No spend days not including today if I make it, so I know I won't reach goal this month, mostly because of those first few days of the month where I was buying for business anyhow moving on I called the bank yesterday and all set to cancel the DD for this months mortgage payment however this will be paid with previously made OPs.

So I think I will be set going forward at least for the next couple of months. Lets hope I hear about a job soonXX

It was rubbish tbh, I already had heard of the employers and I won't get a job with any of them because I have applied before or would be screened out, I felt so much hope and positivity when I went out this morning to feel robbed and peed off now! I had to get new tyres and another visit at another garage means paying more later I can't afford to keep my car at this rate which will limit jobs I can apply for, it is like a viscious cycle that I am been thrown through and not getting a job at the other side. I don't know what is the problem I think someone is telling all these employers that I am no good! which is a lie! It feels like that anyhow with the voices I hear!

Okay meltdown over, I have almost got a job on a number of occasions, it is time to go full on with a job search and keep plodding on, I know I can get a job in accounts it is just taking time. Also I am likley entitled to more benefits soon, so that will resolve most of my issues financially or at least provide needed help. I was thinking after going to the job fair I felt worthless and like I would never get a job, but this afternoon I rememebered all the times I have almost got a job, so it may happen yet, the thing is not to give up, I have applied to a couple of jobs this afternoon and I have full intention to keep trying, it is a shame the survey money has gone because that would alleviate some problems areas for me.

So glad you have picked yourself up CB ,I think in general job hunting is very difficult at present , I am in the same boat as you and on a low day have felt that the employers must know something bad about me ! It sounds crazy but that's where my mind goes . There is so much competition even for lower paid part time jobs . Something will turn up I am sure x

Thanks Newstart but tbh it comes and goes, I have waves of positivity that I will get a job to then waves of unfit and unsuitable and generally a lot of negativity. I will endeavour to stay positive. I just hope the benefits are not cut, that would not be good as then I will really be stuffed.

I had an offer of three interviews last week, I did turn down one as it was shift work and I really want and need a 9-5 for structure with my mental health. I still have two and I would quite like both jobs, one pays less but in the grand scheme of things this is not a bad thing and I won't not do it because of that at the end of the day I am looking for a long term commitment I would rather be paid less and succeed at longevity & stability then paid more and it be a short term committment. Also I want a job that I can do and forget about and go home and generally those may be paid a bit less!

Obviously I didn't get the garage job or at least I haven't yet and they were supposed to let me know yesterday, but I didn't hear a peep! I spent money yesterday and I plan to do the same today, tbh I am a little out of control! I plan on reigning it once my shopping arrives tomorrow! I need to run through my finances again, but I will leave this until tomorrow, I am not spending loads today just a breakfast I think and maybe a snack, I have run out of milk!

Today I am taking MD out early as well, but not quite yet. It would be quite good to get the hoovering done this morning before going out. Have a good day all who pass here and even those that don't 😘. XX.
