I had enough time to look at finances this afternoon, It appears that I have enough to get by until the end of October, but I must be on a much tighter reign until I get a new lodger. I have splurged a bit lately now I must pull it back until I get a job or a lodger! I have applied to quite a few roles this afternoon, one fully remote! I am down to one interview, it is just the lady on the call she said do you know what the pay band is and I said yes I would be looking for the top bracket, she huffed, lierally huffed down the phone, so I decided to opt for somewhere else, somewhere where they know how lucky they are to have me going for a 25K job!

Anyhow mission for the rest of June reach 10 No spend days, I am on 9/19 No spend days, a long way off target, so I need to work on this next month which will be a tough month to get back into control seat and no frivolity. CC will be zero I am just waiting for a few more transactions to go through then I will pay off the balance before the CC is due! Have a good day allXX

Good morning CB , I suppose you could think of tomorrow as a reset with the no spend days , you are doing well finding opportunities for interviews etc , I'm sure something suitable will turn up soon, Hope you are coping OK in the heat xx

Hi Newstart thank you for dropping by, So far the heat has been okay, bearable I should say. I think after that drive I did last week (to Stonehenge) I have been feeling extremely exhausted also with the heat, but right now after a decent couple of days resting I feel completely refreshed and revitalised, the only trouble is I am sat here thinking what am I going to do?! Without a job and without surveys I am at a loss, I could keep searching for jobs I guess and I think I will do that but I did an extensive search at the weekend and well there hasn't been much time to post new jobs!

Anyhow I do feel good and ready to take on a new job, so I just need that elusive job offer! TBH I am still holding out for the garage job, I know they said they would let me know Friday, but perhaps they didn't perhaps it is today?! I can dream!

A lot of promise today, I had an interview this afternoon and I have a further three scheduled for the rest of the week. I have a viewing for the room at the weekend and I am on 10/19 no spend days to end the month. Also I am still in with a chance for the garage job as they had made a mistake and told me wrong the call will be this Friday. I have made two cakes today and have taken one to MD I had a sneeky two slices of mine and it is gooood! Also HM PIzza ready to cook and I am filled with a sense of positivity, lets hope this week bears fruitXX

I think I have royally cocked up the interview today as I was very hot and my brain melted and when they said do you have any other interviews or job applications I said yes, I was hoping for a job offer on Friday, talk about dense. That is me all over! Anyhow My head keeps telling me something positve this way comes so lets see what awaits for the rest of the week.

I have kicked off the month with a No Spend day wahoo!

I need to make a list of things to do to tick off so that I am not just doing nothing/ nada. Now the surveys are gone there is nothing left for me to do except clean and get the place looking prisitne for the new lodger if I should be so lucky and the old lodger of course!

To Do:-

1) Clean kitchen cupboard fronts

2) Dust everywhere

3) sort out toilet seat

4) organise and a little cleaning of inside kitchen cupboards.

5) Go round the place and add jobs

I didn't muck up the interview the other day as I have been invited to a next stage interview wowzer, there is a first for everything! I have spent money today for trainers it did go on MDs card but I will be paying it back as soon as things straighten out financially, I have made a list of everything that I have spent on MDs card and paid off and I will keep a running total, as there is more to get yet with the car!

Today has been great I have had a meal out courtesy of MD got new really comfortable and perfect trainers, and the sun is bearable and there was a reprieve this morning when it was cooler, so feeling quite human. Dinner is in the oven and life feels positive, lets hope a job offer is on the table soonXX
