I have done a few surveys today earning a bit not quite enough to cash out yet £5.34/£25.96 pending, the good news is I haven't spent today and I am not planning to, I was tempted to buy chocolate chips for the banana bread, but I think I prefer to not spend and have a plain banana bread - it still tastes good - but before that I need to house clean, this time I must do it:-

    1) Change bed linen

    2) Put wash on

    3) Put washing away

    4) Hoover

    5) Mop

    6) Clean bathroom

    7) Do Bins

    8) Clean dining table.

    9) Make cake

    10) prepare for job interview - I have done a bit I need to do more tomorrow - R&R now!

    11) Search for a job

    12) Do surveys all day today - Shucks I just missed a £6 one 😒

Wish me luck with my list - I am not really feeling it today either, but I will force myself to get the whole list done - famous last words!

I am just having a little breather, I have cashed in £6.30 now and my cash pot is £29.91 my aim is £40 before the end of the month which should be more then possible if not more!

Sometime later - I have nearly done all my tasks and I have come up with a plan for savings/CC pay off and that is to Save £40 from the beggining of the month and then put that in holding, anything above this will be put in a new pot for car service and MOT which will be kept seperate...I need to check when the MOT is due!

I have just checked it is the 18th August, so I will book it on 1st August it normally costs £55 or thereabouts, so I will aim to save this or thereabout for the first! Also MD said I could do the lawn tomorrow - £20 yippee!

Prolific is looking very healthy after a $14 survey standing at ready to cash out tomorrow £11.19/ £32.66 pending that will make the first £40, then all money saved will be aimed at Car MOT so I'll aim for £55 after tomorrow, I have decided to do the lawn another day as I don't want to get tired for the interview, tomorrow I will do more prep and surveys all day if I should be so lucky and there are some, the ultimate goal will be to prepare for the interview with the mindset of getting the job through presenting my best self, so lots of practice. Anyhow that is enough waffle for one night. Have a good eveningXX

£40 safely stored away, that will be £100 I can deduct from the credit card - next the MOT I am at £4.11 in the pot and I have 14 days to reach £55, prolific is still being good and with £31.91 pending and £20 of that due to be cashed out before the end of the month I am a good way there, with mowing the lawn to add there is a strong possibility that I will succeed at this also. I am aiming for a NS day today and a lot of interview prep. I better see if I can catch any more Zzzzzs before the night/morning is over!

Cash pot with the aim of £55 is at £11.71 thanks to a payment from airtasker so just £43.29 to go and prolific ready to cash out tomorrow at £7.80, now I have £35.49 to go..getting there. I am avoiding spending money and I am avoiding going out to steer clear from the heat, if it feels as hot as it looks out there, thankfully it is cool right now indoors, I am very thankful for this.

I haven't been writing for a while and so therefore I decided to read my the story that I had been writing in hopes to get inspired, it is getting close to the closing event, it took about two hours to read so not that short but not that long either, I don't think I can carry on waffling for much longer so I will play the event out and end it because I want to finish it but have no real kick for it, it feels more like a chore which I didn't want it to feel like, perhaps I am just not in the zone? I will try again maybe today but first I need to do the interview prep, that was my main task for the day and I haven't started.

The queen of refunding is back at it again, I have made the move to cancel the order of my computer and phone that I bought to start a business on the basis that although I don't have a job, I am expecting to have one eventually even if I have to coast a bit longer yet. I am good at what I do and I have a good CV, I was talked into starting a business against my wishes, and although it does sound like a good idea, I prefer to work for someone so I can leave my job at work. Therefore lets see if I can get a full refund I should do as there is a money back guarantee with the computer and the phone also is not as good as my current model and that is what I have told them, in that the sound and the calls do not come across well. I have started the process, I have cancelled the balance transfer. This would mean I would be CC debt free by the end of the month, if all goes to plan.

I don't want to have a business why can't I listen to myself, MD and my sister both insist that I work for myself, I don't know why I can't listen to myself, I am more then capable of working for a company and why can't I go for the plan of doing that, why do I have to yield to other peoples ideas for me. They seem to think that people can't work with me potentially, maybe I have been angry with previous employers, but I have always held my breath and continued to work as peacefully and as effectively as possible. I am always trying my best, I have never been recognised and once when I was recognised that didn't mean they were loyal to me. Yes it is a horrid world out there and potentially I can run a business, but I really don't want to go through the ballache of it all. I am confident in what I do, I have been employed by the same employer twice on my CV, so they thought I could do the job, I have been praised...All the interviews I have had lately all say the same thing that I am close to getting the job, it is always between me and another candidate...so maybe at some point it will be my turn and why not?

Also I am mentioning to employers that I hope to work for a successful business so if they feel they are in a failing business they may not want me, which is good because I am sick of keep getting employed by failing businesses. I am more then capable to do the job so why Can I not have a job? Most people work years in businesses why am I stuck with 6 months 1.5 years, it is frightfully annoying, but I still plan on getting that dream of working somewhere and it be a good place and that they want me as much as I want them. Some people work in places and they actually want to work there, that is what I am striving for a good place that pays enough. I guess that is what everyone is after, and why should we stop fighting for it?

Okay refunds are progressing and there will be £36.63 left to pay fo the credit card which I already have once they come in. Cash pot is at £58.50 so that is the MOT money sorted, I am hoping to get a gold service which costs £270.41 so I need to save a further £266.91 or I should say I have £58.50/£325.41 which is 17%. This is my only mission for the time being as well as to get a job!

Interview was sort of okay today, I lacked a little confidence but mostly I was confident in everything that I expressed, they came off really well too, a good team, I would be lucky to work for them on first assessment. So just the hope now that I get a second interview which I should find out on Friday. Also I have another interview on Monday for a different company, they sell exciting cars, I have dreamt that one day I could pick up my own motor from there, but funnily enough this no longer bothers me, I am still excited by their vehicles.

Prolific slow today but after two phenominal days it is hardly surprising, having picked up Circa £20 each day!

New mission alert! I have a prospective lodger coming to view room tomorrow evening, the only issue is that the room will unused for about 2/3 of August which means I need to make up the shortfall plus the MOT which is in August therefore I need to raise £305 by End of August, It is the quieter time with prolific however MD has a few jobs for me to do for the next few days, plus prolific still good today with £10.03 cashed in! and there is another £26 pending! So Far the cash pot is at £88.53, tomorrow I am expecting to earn £20 for nail clipping MD and SFD, the lawn still needs doing I think her handy man came round today so potentially it has been done? Now I have a real big motivating mission to attend to I will see if I can get my grocery shop lower also at least £5-10, anything will help right now! I would do Airtasker only it tends to be low paid, I may get penalised if I find I can't do it and benefits drop which makes it even less worthwhile. So all in all a dud! Not sure how I can reach this goal now! Unless I can sell something, I will have a look & Try may as well make use of free listings on Ebay!

Refund queen at it again, I have a lot of praise for this company, I was beyond the 7 day money back guarantee and beyond the 14 day cooling off period, but they refunded me the licence anyhow, because they care and they were being very helpful, I am very pleased to say the least. This means pot is now looking healthier after putting grocery money away, and the cash for the balance therefore pot stands at £178.53 which is 58% of the way there! Also I am going to see about doing the lawn when it gets cooler tonight! Have a good evening allXX

I am learning that when income is low, credit is not wise, even when income is high this can change and unless you have the savings if all should fail, I really feel credit is unwise for everyone, of course there are times that you need it, but then really should we have it, whenever you use credit you are always putting yourselves at risk, always better to save for stuff I am finding. I think because of the refund scenario it means I don't need to ask MD and SFD for cash, yes I am doing little jobs for them, but I am not asking for £300 from them, so I feel that this is much better standing on my two feet really see what it means to do this. I am lucky getting a lodger, if he decides to come that is, lets see tomorrow.

I do feel like I have learned the difference between using credit and not, In my position I simply cannot afford it, If there were two people with two incomes a back up then that would be different, but with one person with no job and fluctuating room mates, it is not steady it is changing, therefore I will commit now to not using credit again unless I am in a more secure position.
