Regarding above there is an opportunity to request to waive the fee, so I shall see if they will do it. But I think I had better not sign myself up for anymore physical tasks as I am just not fit enough, I don't want to find that I am losing out because I try and then fail. Anyhow whatever will be will be, I have three interviews now, surely something will come from it? I am going to give each one my best shot, surely I will win a job? Fingers crossed. I think my roomie has had enough saying hold fingers thumbs etc, because it feels like he is saying it every day now!! 🤣🤣🤣 perhaps it is not as lucky as one first thought!!

The good thing about mowing some strangers lawn part way is that after a shower I feel energised and revitalised! Ready for the interview!!

I did well in the interview but came up against some niggles, I am not VAT Return trained (I have the qualification but not the experience) and Payroll, however I think I should be able to do this with the aid of some you tube videos as mostly it is done through Sage (A financial software) and mostly it is automatic, so I just need to learn the ins and outs. I did come across skilled and keen, and the chap seemed keen. However he agreed to see the other candidates and I agreed to go to my other interview. I told him I am very interested in the role, I also said that I would need a day on the system to see if I can operate it successfully, I said I would work for free to do see if I can do it, he did like the sound of that but lets see he may get what he wants from the other candidates. Although I must have had the strongest application as he went to me first? Lets see.

I feel a bit of a failure today because 1) I let down that air tasker which is a drop in cash of £38 and secondly I paid for a takeout, so instead of circa £30 in the pot I actually have £6.27 eak...I feel like a wally and useless, if I get the job then it doesn't matter, but I am a fool for doing this, I did enjoy it at least.

On the upside I could be getting a job soon I have another interview and I have a cash pot ready to cash in tomorrow in prolific (£8.37) I need to run an errand for MD tomorrow but otherwise there is nothing on the horizonXX

Don't feel like a failure CB , you are anything but . Just look how hard you are trying to get a job ! Don't go for anything to heavy on Airtasker , you don't want to risk injury . Can I ask about your banana bread , is it best to use ripe bananas ? Enjoy your weekend x

Thanks @Newstartforme I appreciate your comment. I have decided not to do airtasker anymore as there is a risk if I can't get something done that I will lose out, plus it affects my benefits. The banana bread recipe is good and I found it on the net:-

    115mL Rapeseed oil,
    114g Eggs
    200g Granulated sugar
    240g Plain flour
3 level tsp of baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 ripe bananas

Chuck everything in a mixer and mix until yellow batter forms, line a loaf tin and pour in and bake at 180oC for 35-45 mins, check at 35 mins with a knife or touch the top if it is liquid it needs a while longer. You could add sainsburys own chocolate drops - I think they are £1.25/£1.30 this adds deliciousness, just add to the mixture and mix in.

I have a cash pot of £48.92 I am trying to get it to £100, I am due at a party on Sunday and there could be things to buy like refreshments etc, so I am thinking the pot will get smaller before it gets bigger. I may take a big bottle of water with me.

I have overspent on the shop by £5.86, I didn't want to but I think it is better to get the baking things included in the shop and then scratch that I am going to change it.....I just changed it actually not sacrificing much to get it down to the right amount - £50.00 now or a gnats whisker under!

I am not sure how I ma going to make money now - I guess I just hope for a job soon.

    Have a good weekend allX

I have a new plan of action for the coming few months:-

In summary I know I can make £40 a month in prolific (at least I am 99% sure I can! (I made at least that last year each month)) so my aim will be to make £40 then add £60 from left over lolly at the beggining of the following month when rent comes in. This is providing I get a new lodger part way through August Ideally, I could be left a bit short, we will see. My aim will be to get it all paid by the end of the year, preferably before!

I have £48.92 in cash pot, so for the party I don't want to spend more then £8.92 on refreshments which I think because I like water is doable. Any excess will go into savings for the next £100.

Hello early bird, as someone said during the week, prolific will go quiet now the uni students have done there dissertations. So please don't sit hunched over the phone /laptop waiting for the ping. Get on with marketing your business having invested money into that. If it takes off you could do both a job and self employed. Checkout your local voluntary organisation to see if there is a treasurers role to get your teeth stuck intofor book-keeping practice. Good luck

I know you are right @Chieveley but I am really hoping for a full time role that pays what I used to get paid, I am getting the interviews, I am sure sooner or later I will get the job. I do have equipment should I wish to start a business and I have an ad coming out, but really I just want 9-5 job that I can forget about that is not too far and potentially has hybrid working. It is not an extensive list that I ask for and I am going to interviews, I am still holding out for a position, my ad comes out on 23rd June, so we will see what comes of that.

Today I need to get the house in order therefore a list:-

    1) Change bed linen

    2) Put wash on

    3) Put washing away

    4) Hoover

    5) Mop

    6) Clean bathroom

    7) R&R&Lunch!!

Sometime later - I just feel too tired to do the list today, i'll save it for Monday now.

I have been to see Abba Voyage today, that was the party and what a party they had put on the light show was amazing and the music excellent. Sadly I am only on 2/19 No spend days this month and today I couldn't add one, I didn't cave until right near the end when I bought dinner of burger from BK and spent £21 eak! Therefore cash pot does not look quite as impressive, I have however made £25 per month going forward as I have transferred my credit card to 0% I will need to pay £24 which is £1 less then the monthly charge I would have had to spend had I not done it, It is only 8 months 0% so I need to really tackle the credit card as quick as possible at least £100 per month - cash pot right now is £23.61 I need to get that to £40 again this week so I can knock off the first £100 come July 1st.

Money, Money, Money it's kinda funny!
