I have asked cathybird on the no spend threads opinion on whether or not I have a no spend day as I bought a delivery pass yesterday, we will see either way I do have 7/12 no spend days at the least! Aiming for 8 or 9! I have £86.62/£600 14% remains / 86% Utilised. Thanks to that £20 earning I have added!

Today is a long day at work 8-6pm 1 hour lunch because I am making up the time I will be having off on Wednesday to take MD&SFD and myself for a vaccine, we are also going out for a meal, maybe?

I invited MD & SFD for a christmas meal (On Christmas day) only I didn't receive a yes please, I got I'll think about it. Considering the effort I put in and what I would have done for them I feel a bit put out that they didn't snap up the offer considering they have no other offers, It felt like my birthday all over again. Birthdays and Christmas days are the worse, when you are hoping to be spoilt or spoil your nearest and dearest and instead you get i'll think about it! Anyhow I have retracted the offer and she said she didn't really enjoy the last time, I flippin didn't enjoy it last time, I was hoping to improve upon it! Never mind I must remeber the rest of the time is quite good, so it is just Birtdays and Christmas well that is 2 days of the year and at any rate I enjoy the build up to Christmas, so I will make the most of that time and not worry so much about Christmas& Birthdays!

Anyhow I should be getting on - Wishing all who come by an excellent week aheadXX

MD said she hasn't decided yet what she is doing, she was hoping for an invite from my sister, but my sister didn't want to invite her. 😒There is a terrible family dynamics my sister who is pretty much evil thinks that because I don't want to come to her normally lovely event (This has been happening many years now) that she will not invite Mum and make her miserable. The reason I no longer go is because my sister seems to think she can do what she wants the rest for year like she has earned her nastiness. The trouble is I don't have anywhere else to go, so I am alone and now my actions mean that mum is also alone with sfd who is not much company, plus she will have lodgers and I have my own lodger who will be cheffing at work. However we will have a Christmas another day.

Did you notice the interesting button, I wonder when I will first see one of those on this thread it will be a while no doubt!! 😂😂😂

Thank you Newstart and enjoy your evening and the week aheadXX

I have £86.62/£600 £66 of which will be used on groceries, I am holding on to the last £20 as long as possible! I am up to 9/12 no spend days and there is 18 days left before pay day. We are 41% of the way through the month. If I can hold on until the end of the week it will be 54% of the way through, still a long way to go with not much money! At least I am well fed and and have necessities. I just am getting frustrated not having any money, and £600 is quite a lot, plus I have had a bit extra. I went and bought all gifts straight away, yes Christmas is wrapped up but what about my month!! (I did enjoy the shop and Christmas wrapping etc) But I did go a bit daft and spend everything straight away!

At least this week I am in and I don't have to go to the office, which is a blessing. Wishing you good eveningsXX

I have £86.62/£600 £66 of which will be used on groceries, I am up to 9/12 no spend days and aiming for 10 today and there is 17 days left before pay day. We are 45% of the way through the month. If I can hold on until the end of the week it will be 54% of the way through. I want to live life in between however I am very much geared up to the end of the month when I get paid again. I hope this month trains me better for the next month, as the next month there are five weeks and three grocery shops!

Todays work is a regular 8-5 with an hour lunch, so will feel shorter then yesterday's 8-6! I aim to do some cross stitch this evening I am making a card for Christmas I have two but only see myself finishing one if that at the rate I am doing it, I must get back into it!

    Have a lovely day allXX

I have £10.02/£600, I am up to 8/12 no spend days and aiming for 10 today and there is 17 days left before pay day. We are 45% of the way through the month. If I can hold on until the end of the week it will be 54% of the way through. Today has been naughty and I decided to change the no spend days to 8 because yesterday whichever way you put it I spent money, and I did today as well. Today I spent £12.10 on lunch bits from M & S I needed something and it is within walking distance. I feel like I need something because of the sugar diabetes. When I have less sugar in my blood and the fat on my organs makes me feel like I need energy, that is what they say diabetes is (well type 2 at least)!............

Sometime later ..... On that note I left the post mid sentence and went to Slimming World I signed up to their 12 week countdown (£64.50) and now that is what I am doing. The fact is I need to lose weight and I need support doing it, so I thought it is on tonight I would go, I think I will just make it on time from the office on Tuesdays also on a normal week. I am not drastically changing anything I will make smaller changes when I can, get ideas and try and do what I can to follow the plan.

I am going to add some money to the pot for the next shop, it does mean I am not going to reach my savings goal for the month but maybe I can reach it another month and reach other goals too as well as. XX

Thanks Beanie, but over night I have changed my mind, it was a spur of the moment thing. I don't think I am cut out for it. I had lost weight on my own so maybe I will keep trying on my own. Thank youXX

Today I am on 8/12 no spend days I seem to be stuck, I am aiming for 9 tomorrow now. Snacked today 😒 and I really didn't need to. I have transferred cash for the last time this month, and I intend to try harder to stop spending my spending money. £117.41 left and £72 for groceries. We are 48% of the way through the month and there are 16 days left which will soon fly past. Tonight I went for a meal with the folks as well as getting pesky jabs for all. The meal was surprisingly good and so was the dessert. Although I will have to pay for a covid jab, I am contemplating not getting one, however I think it would be a good spend if I were to get one it costs £99, Scratch that I will get one. I'll book it tomorrow. Have a good evening all XX

We are 51% of the way through the month and there are 15 days left which will soon fly past. I don't have any sweet treats in and when I am not having anything that satisfy the sweet treat I often speend on junk food, today I am going to try not to do that. I do have yoghurt and ice creams so not nothing in really! I am wishing everyone a good day aheadXX
