I spent £17 on biscuits and todays lunch, I know what would possibly cost that much? £5.00 sushi, £2.00 For samosa, £6.50 for biscuits, £2.00 for drink, £1.50 for pretzel gosh it really adds up - that was extortionate! £17.00 I am not doing that again I can tell you, can you beleive I was trying to make it cheaper by only buying one sushi box, last time it cost in the region of £20 so it is cheaper but not by much.
I am going to have a dinner at home tonight no take out for me after that little lunch break! However in my lunch break I also did the linen and put it on to wash, so that is one less job for tonight, there are a few more jobs to do, Bathroom I want to get done while I wait for the dinner, it is needed this time!! and Hoover and mop after dinner if I am up to it.
MD wants to go to the garden centre and more tomorrow (I say and more as it is more then just a garden centre!) So it really would be good to get those pesky jobs out of the way. Actually I am going to do them before dinner then do Baked beans on toast for dinner with cheese on top, yes that will do me. Cheap and nutritious and quick. So a trusty list: -
1) Do the bins
2) Do the bathroom
3) Hoover
4) Mop
5) Eat dinner
6) Clean dining table after wash up and after dinner
7) R&R
I am not looking forward to this it is the case of powering through 😒😒😒!
I decided the mopping can be left the floor doesn't look too bad, bit naughty!0 -
This morning I am tasked with going to MandS to get MDs & SFDs groceries, then after I am going to the garden centre with MD. No doubt we will splurge on scone & cake etc. MD wants to buy some gifts for Bdays that are coming up. I personally need milk, which will count as a grocery item, MD is buying me some oranges for the week. So Maybe I can add a No spend day to the mix? Taking me up to 7 we shall see.
Cash is at £74.12 after having added a tenner, which will be used in next weeks shop, I do still have about £20 wiggle room in the main account before I lose out on my planned savings for the month. I am thinking I will get a couple of things tomorrow with some cash, just to make the week a bit better, like jam and cheese, I may get them today and save today as a spending day.
I had one junk food spluge and one take out this week, I am sure they could have been avoided had I given it my best so a new weeek ahead and a chance to improve upon. In the spirit of being healthier I hadn't gone for take out for some time before. I'll work it out, I last had take out on 28th September so that was 11 days, I'lll ry and widen that gap next time around. Junk food splurge last happened 30th September so that was 10 days ago again i will try and widen that gap. I do feel that is an improvement anyhow.

Hope you managed to complete all your tasks and get a but of relaxation time . The more organised you are food wise the less likely to impulse buy , though sometimes you just need a treat . Lovely that you are helping your mum on your day off xx1

You don't like garden centres! Crikey, Mum and I are quite partial to the one nearby they have a good selection of gifts, clothes and indoor and outdoor plants, and the food is good. It is my mums favourite place to go because it is great for a wheelchair, although today she did knock over a glass. Never mind. We went early enough for breakfast and MD bought pancakes and bacon and hashbrowns for us both, it was quite the treat. Thank you Beanie and I hope you enjoy your weekend tooXXbeanielou said:Enjoy your weekend. Obviously just me that’s not keen on garden centres!0 -
Thank you Newstart, I have been back home since 3pm or therabouts, all I have done is pick on delicious foods I have in (MD bought me (Truffle cheese) cheese, oranges and milk) (I did a few things for her, put washing away, made her special coffee wrapped up presents and sorted the sink out). Also I wrote to my new penpal and ex flat mate that used to live here, I have received two messages from him and I keep writing back to him, I enjoy all the Christmas talk, but I bet he is a bit fed up with it!Newstartforme said:Hope you managed to complete all your tasks and get a but of relaxation time . I have tonight and tomorrow to myself, I may just stay in, I am due to got to MDs again on Tuesday anyhow as I am working there that day while the car gets serviced and MOT'd. I agree with being organised, I have milk for cereal so I don't buy pastries, I have oranges, walnuts, yoghurt and various different lunch things for the week like beans and fish fingers. I am in for the week so no need to make a big pack up for lunch except for going to MDs on Tuesday which I can just take a can of beans or something. I will have cooked food and toast etc for the week.
Thank you I have decided to give MD one day, where I buy groceries and take her out, I also do any bits and bobs she needs etc and in return she treats me to a meal out or cash. We enjoy each others company and I feel like I have done somenting positive for her and myself as I feel better knowing I have done my bit by her if you know what I mean, even though she more then compensates for it. I am just glad we are in each others lives.
Have a lovely weekendXX

It is 12th October there is 19 days left in the month after today, and therefore 19 days until pay day. There is another two weekends left. I have zero more money for pocket money and Circa £70 left for groceries. I am up to 7/12 no spend days and aiming for one today. I have decided to ask MD if she needs anything doing today to earn a bit of pocket money. I was going to spend the day relaxing but quite frankly I would be glad to do something and to see someone!0

I have been to MDs nail cuttings, a little washing up, furniture sort, washing and empty the dishwasher - £20 earned plus a packet of popcorn, I am keeping this as pocket money for the week. The aim will be to keep it intact for the weekend.
For the rest of today I would like to sort out 4 areas of my room, but each section is quite big, for a small room there is a lot of stuff in four places, I want to sort through each place really well, however I only want to work on one place today. You see when I moved into the small room I kind of tipped drawers of stuff into the new room, and I did sort some stuff but a lot of stuff is not used, therefore I want to go through each place meticulously, but really take my time over each area. So therefore I want to complete left drawer of my bed today.
Then I will have lunch and a long hot shower, puts pjs on then eat popcorn with a book to read. That is the plan of action for today.
Sometime later... I did the left and the right side
oops I just ate some of my step fathers chocolate liquors by unwrapping the present and eating, well I did always want to try them, I don't think I will eat them again though, although now I will wait until next month to buy or even the week before Christmas?1 -

Yeah I do feel a bit sick now and the chocolate wasn't that great either. MD said that SFD taste buds have diminshed she wasn't joking those chocs were gross, although they did satisfy the sweet fix!beanielou said:Yuk. Absolutely loathe chocolate liqueurs. Pass the chocolate.0
