My DD & DS1 would come home from the weekend, rummage through the cupboards saying:
"you'll never eat that"
"oh I was looking for one of those"
"Ah, I *need* that"
then they'd take their clean washing and half my cupboard contents and leaveI miss that.
Weezl manages on 25p a month, go over to OS, but don't expect sympathy and a big budget.:rotfl:

Just to let you all know that Woofer passed away this morning.
I got a call from home on Thursday to come home to take him to the vets as he couldn't really move or stand up. My dad thought he had had a stroke. Mum said her goodbyes to him and we all thought that was that. Anyway when I put the car out the front and went in to get him he managed to get up. Got to the vets and he gave him a jab and said he might just be really sore from the arthritis and to come back Monday.
Yesterday morning I got another call to say he hadn't moved since I'd left him the day before. Again, was all prepared to have him put to sleep, mum saying her goodbyes. Managed to lift him into the car and get him back to the vets. They took a blood sample and gave him some steroids for his joints and said they'd call us with the results. At this point he hadn't wee'd for 36 hours so thought it might be his kidneys as he had been drinking loads aswell.
Got him home and he looked really uncomfortable trying to stand up. We hoisted him up and with me supporting his bum he promptly crapped in my hand. :rotfl: Little sod!
Blood results all came back clear but he wasn't looking too good. I don't think he was in any pain because of the jabs but he was probably uncomfortable not being able to stand up or move himself very well.
He was sick several times and from the afternoon onwards wouldn't even eat a choccy biscuit.
Mum and dad stayed up in shifts with him all night and this morning my dad put his head on a pillow, went out to get the paper and by the time he got back he had passed away.
I'm relieved and as daft as it might sound, happy, that he is at peace as he couldn't have been well but I also miss him like crazy aswell.
Had to take him to the vets this morning and couldn't help but laugh as I could barely get him out the door where his legs had gone all stiff. I had to turn him on his back so his legs were poking in the air. Even then he was being a little sod. :A
The vet thinks that the cancer was more advanced than they had expected and had spread to his bones.
The daft thing was the days before Thursday he'd been has happy and lively as he'd been for ages but you read about people doing that don't you? Those who are terminally ill pick up before slipping away. I reckon he knew it was coming and was just enjoying his last days.
Anyway I can't write any more coz I can't see the screen but we've been remembering just a few of the many good times.
RIP boy. I miss you so much already. x0 -

Yeah we all are aswell. I think maybe the vet knew as she said about keeping him in over night but he'd be better at home where he knows.
As daft as it sounds we're glad the way it did all happen. Short, painless, and peaceful and where he knows.0 -
