I agree with the others though its the little things that all add up.
Meant to put a washer/dryer. Can I get one of them for £200. Admittedly it won't be used very often! :rotfl:
TV I will definately get cheaper. Just had a quick glance on Play.com but don't want to spend that!
Micorwaves. Hmmm! Well apparently they do combi ones that are grills/ovens all in one!But me not know what talking about!

Thanks Buffy.
I'm pretty sad as it's still at least 3 months away! :rotfl:
Plus I may end up renting a shoebox and I won't be able to fit anything in anyway!
Argos is handy but I don't know whether it's the cheapest place in the world?0 -
Do what most men do and take your washing round to your nearest female relative's house, and then pick it up 24 hours later, washed and ironed...
You could always use freecycle just to get you started, then when you can afford, replace things and put the old ones back on freecycle.
And people might buy you 'stuff' when you move house too, especially if you have a housewarming party, so don't buy TOO much before you move in, just the bare essentials."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

If its a washer dryer then you are talking about £280 for the cheapest I think, but do you really need a dryer??? I have a family of 4 and we dont have one, even in the winter when I cant hang washing out I just have a couple of clothes airers. Just takes a bit of planning but if i was on my own I wouldnt dream of having a dryer plus they eat the electric.
Its dead exciting setting up your own place and at least you have somewhere private to take the ladies back to without parents spying on you;)But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Oh b*gger. I need to get one of them aswell!
I've managed to live on my own for 15 years (god that makes me sound old - moved out when I was 6 obviously  ) without owning a proper kitchen bin up until now. We used to have a carrier bag under the sink, and just take it out to the outside bin when it was full.
And I STILL don't own a decent TV."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I still do it too.am always looking online at their website too.
oh I was going to write something else too. but so sleepy.... ermmm
oh yes, its not the cheapest place in the world( but that would involve more shopping around), but they do deliver and when you can't drive (like me) its brilliant!
free cycle looks fab tho - I just got rid of my fridge freezer and now have loads of e mails offering just about everything.
