  • I love you too hunny. :kisses3:

Yeah, I've got my mind and heart set on the flat but the debt bug is still in me! :undecided

    :o

its really hard, I don't how you managed to pay off so much and not have a mad moment. so far this month I have nearly booked a holiday to rome and a driving course.

I havent overpaid my loan this month and it doesn't feel good. I am not over drawn and the money went instead on stuff for the house whilst mum was away and on Mum's birthday so its not dreadful wasting like it used to be.

I need to get my head straight really. I think you have made the right decision tho, your debt is undercontrol and you can manage to pay the amounts each month and save for the next bit of your life.

    xx

Why would I need bedding in the kitchen, front room and shower?;)

I have thought about it but I can't afford that and a 42" telly so it will have to wait! :p
    :rotfl: :rotfl:
You're incorrigible! Gemmzie's right - get comping for that telly!

  • Just a thought - before you go buying washing machines, microwaves etc - it might be a good idea to sign up to Which for their almost  free -now £1- 30 day trial. Just make sure you cancel before you start having to pay!

Which's advice on different brands and what features to look out for is helpful. They tend to give advice on what brands need repairs more often etc so should save you money in the long run.

I also find comet a good website for checking out specs and comparing items even if you buy elsewhere.

And don't forget you can probably buy quite a bit using Quidco etc

Do you have a bit of emergency money available? Can you pay your rent and deposit? Is there money left over for beer? If yes, you're set

    You tell me! :rotfl:

The thing is I don't know what I'll be paying yet. Seen a nice flat for £675/pm but I think council tax could be £100 a month!

Then I'm budgetting £250 for leccy, gas, water, tv, sky, internet phone.

Thats £1,045. Plus £371 for my loan is £1,416. Plus my mobile, £35 and car about £200 a month is £1,650. So thats my wages gone! :undecided

Is that with 25% discount on the Council Tax? You're over 25 aren't ya? Won't you get some Tax Credits?
