I seem to have touched something on a Word document, and all my Word documents have gone very narrow.
Can anyone advise how to return to normal width?
Thank you

You've probably changed the margins:Although this should only affect the document you've opened, not all of them. The other thing you could have done that affect all documents is change the view settings:
- Click the “View” tab at the top of the Word window.
- Locate the “Document Views” section and select “Print Layout”.

Thanks very much for your help.
Sorted it now, it was the setting at View, Width which somehow became altered.
However, if I open a new Word document it opens in the same format as the document with the issue. Even the saved Word documents on my USB stick have been altered.
Could that be a setting which needs changing?0 -
Have you zoomed out?
At the bottom right corner it will show the zoom percentage if you click the plus + button on the right or minus - button on the left does that change what you are seeing?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Thanks, I think that I must have mistakenly pressed the zoom percentage button. The problem seems to be resolved now.
Thanks everyone for your input.1
