    UPDATE

Apologies for the lack of updates. I’ve been waiting to confirm the current situation, which required several calls/emails to the courts.

Additionally, I was away on holiday.

A few weeks ago, I contacted the courts, and they confirmed the case has been discontinued. They also mentioned that DCBL served the N279 form.

The only concern is that I haven’t received the Notice of Decision (NoD) directly via post or email. I'm not sure if I need it sent to me personally.

So far, I have not received any email communication from the courts or from DCBL. However, the courts have confirmed the notice of discontinuation.

    Congrats! You won!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Do you have an email from the court - confirming the NoD - that you can screenshot here? We need evidence in order to include your success in the discontinuances thread.

If not please get it from DCB Legal, if it isn't sitting in your junk emails.

I wonder if I've already mentioned this to you shahib_02 (apologies if so).
Either way, we need you in August if you want to be part of the push to change things in future:

Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-8-weeks-from-11th-july-2025/p1

It's very important that people like this Defendant - struggling with aggressive court claims for no justified reason - tell the Government that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. That will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN'.

c). Tell them about your experiences.

We will discuss it on that thread further during August. Please bookmark it and come back.

Usually,  the N279 email is sitting in the spam folder,  also any replies from them too, so check your junk emails

Seems your not the only one not to receive N279. I'd be inclined to email DCB Legal daily until they forward it...I write for the 2nd (3rd 4th etc) time to request....
