This is what I have on the second page - it looks like its 14 days before the court hearing. So I assume they may settle before that?0
-
So ensure that your bundle is ready to go by the date that is 2 weeks prior to the hearing date, which we have been telling you all along ( carefully reading court documents is important here, you had that information all along )
After their fee deadline date, check with the local court if they paid it
Meanwhile, keep checking your inbox and spam folder for an emailed discontinuance, as well as getting your WS + Exhibits bundle ready2 -

So witness statement needs to be emailed to court and the dcb 14 days before the hearing? Mine is at the awaiting hearing stage letter.0 -
I suggest that you stick to putting queries in your own thread, you court order could have different deadlines, so wait, dont assume1

No, just previous recent examples in other recent cases, start looking in the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas
If you have not received their WS close to the WS deadline date, it's a good sign
Keep checking your spam folder and your inbox for any discontinuance too

Is it normal that I haven’t received any emails from DCB Legal? All correspondence so far has been by post, and the most recent letter was a settlement offer. I’ve also checked my junk and spam folders, but there’s nothing from them.
Should I still go ahead and finalise my witness statement and submit it tomorrow, or would it be better to wait? I believe the deadline for submission is tomorrow.
