*UPDATE*
I have just had my mediation appointment - the phone call lasted approx. 1min
They mentioned the claimant and the original figure they are claiming for, they have offered a reduced amount according to the mediator but it wasnt by much.
He asked what my counter offer would be - I said absolutly nothing
After that the phone call was ended5 -
Excellent, your case will now proceed via your local nominated civil court in the usual manner3
-
Just realised this case is still in progress. Look forward to getting an update on the outcome3

*UPDATE*
As @Gr1pr mentioned, the case went to my local civil court (I received a letter approximately a month ago)
I've received a letter from my local court allocating my claim for a small claims track, and my hearing is on July 9th 2025
I have now received a "WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE TO COSTS" letter from DCB Legal.
They have offered a reduced amount to settle this claim.
To settle the claim full and final amount: £100
From the outstanding amount: £305.04
So now I wanted some advice on what I should do next. Should I ignore it, or shall I counteroffer them £00 -
Ignore it, same as everyone else, they had their chances at the mediation stage
What is the deadline for your WS bundle submissions ? Has to be later this month1 -
Okay brilliant!
I'm not sure, they haven’t mentioned WS, but they have mentioned that the court date may not even go ahead on the day due to insufficient times for hearings to go ahead, in which case the hearing may be adjourned and further directions given.Unless, the claimant does by 4.00PM on the 25th June 2025 pay to the court the trial fee of £27.00 or file a properly completed application (i.e. one which provides all the required information in the manner requested) for help with the fees, then the claim will be struck out with effect from 25th June without further order and, unless the court orders otherwise, you will also be liable for the costs which the defendant has incurred.
Does that mean it'll need to be submitted by the 25th June?

Somewhere on that court order will be a statement about submitting a WS + evidence, then you work out the deadline yourself, so study the court order, we cannot speculate on your short version above because that is a pencilled in hearing date and a deadline to pay the court fee, not the section about the WS, but its usually 2 to 4 weeks before the hearing date, meaning that you need to crack on with your bundle1

Read the second page of your hearing order.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
