I would like to join, please. I have done some initial calculations and first steps, but still have loads of questions and things to figure out. So far I've requested and got online access to my mortgage account, and it was helpful to see the up-to-date outstanding balance. I plan to call the mortgage provider tomorrow and check that any overpayments I make will result in reduced term rather than reduced future payments. I will also ask how I'm supposed to track that I'm not going over the allowed 10% in a calendar year. Will then start overpaying. Ideally planning to clear the balance in 5 years time through a combination of overpayments and savings. My target for the remaining months of this year is £22K.2
