Good morning, It's a rather dark, damp and cold day here.  

My list for today
Do paid stuff
Take the dog for a long walk
Strip the kids beds 
Leave beds to air for a bit and then remake. 
Laundry x 1 load
Check the freezer in the garage to make sure everything is ok
HHI
Catch up with emails and send replies where required. 
Dust the kids bedroom and get them to remove rubbish/empty their bin
Wipe down the kitchen worktops
Sweep/mop/vacuum kitchen floor (if the new mop arrives)
Clean windows and sills in the kitchen
Revise for my last exam for this semester. 

I think that is everything that I need to get done today, I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday

Morning all

I have bedding to peg out, hoping it lightens at least.  I've done 3 washloads and 1 TD.  Had my shower before starting my meds regime so I don't get cold while I'm staying upright.

Hoping to get some gifts wrapped today and check cards.  I've now got 2 full card holders (I made my own, years ago) so I need to find a third, and remove a picture so I can hang it.

(If anyone's interested they are just wide ribbon with a bit of card hole punched at the top.  I staple the cards to them, with the stapler set at pin so they are easily removed afterwards.  I'll share a pic if necessary).

Connections was easy, and for the first ever time strands done with no hints.  Wordle in 3.

Thanks for the hugs.  It is what it is.  It's why I did the Dementia knitting challenge in November and this led to me joining a knitting group on Facebook...and guess who else is there!

Haha Valli, wouldn't be a certain flylady beginning with P would it?

 I have done administrative stuff, freshened sofa covers, washed breakfast dishes, put new shower curtain up, bit more Xmas prep and had a lovely soak in the bath.  Because I'm behind with the substantial washing pile I've put off changing the bedding again until tomorrow.  Currently there are three wash loads on airers (max I have room for), one in washing machine and one to go in.

Just having a cuppa and will attempt strands, then I'm taking Poppet out.

- took car to service
- had coffee with swim buddies at gym; no swim today as pool being cleaned
- collected car, went to Mr T on the way home for flowers, stocking fillers and the usual 'one or two things' that fills several carrier bags.    Went to H0bbycraft to get more dishes and oasis.
- did flower arrangement for lake swim buddy who is coming round tomorrow. Most taken with this year's experiment spraying arboreal ivy and berries with silver spray; thought I had some 'frosted' craft silver spray but it turned out to be actual silver, as in what you'd use for a car. Shiny!!
- inspected all boxes of decorations to determine whether we want to put any more up; decided there are quite enough so consolidated boxes/bags and put back in loft out of the way.
- one load through WM
- one load through DW
- lounge end of lounge/diner thoroughly cleaned and tidied. Started on dining end but if it looks a bit 'wrapping in progress' that will be fine by my friend; she's coming to see me not give me a score for tidiness, now she can actually get to a lounge chair.
- Mr N sorted and wrapped the charity food boxes.
- had long phone chat with DB and BIL about various food, sleeping and visiting arrangements. Will have to be very organised with luggage/presents/flowers as we go from here on Sun to DB, on Mon to Mum's house, Tues to BIL then back to Mum's.     
- did a bit of drumming practice
-about to have a quick play on addictive game on advent calendar, then chop up veg ready to make soup in slow cooker which I will put on tomorrow morning.

I was pleased to hear from my step-cousins (is that a thing? the husband's mum was sister to my stepdad) that they had picked up my stepsister and visited mum today, finding her 'bright and recognised us all' which is good as she hasn't seen them for at least 6 months.
Also had a text to say that the application for attendance allowance is being considered.

Morning all.  Hope you're doing okay this morning.

Wordle in five.  I set my alarm early as I need to walk Poppet before going to hairdresser today.  Also need to remember to unlock gate for window cleaner and close curtains so Poppet is not distressed if he comes while I'm out.

To do - dailies, more washing catch up, more prep for Friday, prep games for Boxing Day, check banking and relax for afternoon .

Phew glad I didn't get the cards all wrong...

Oooh does that mean you've got a new name just for Christmas Valli 😃😉 (no names mentioned here)

Was out best part of the day at my sister's and doing battle with Tesco's & Marks afterwards. So got nothing done yesterday.

Oh wait I wrote some cards and posted them at the little postbox in the lane by the woods.

Morning all. It's been a bit stormy overnight here. Thank you for the FlyLady cards; they arrived this morning.  

My list for today
Revise for tomorrow's exam (last one for now)
Do paid stuff
Take the dog for a long walk
HHI
Wipe down the kitchen worktops
Sweep/mop/vacuum kitchen floor (if the new mop arrives)
Clean windows and sills in the kitchen
Take DD & DS to hairdresser appointments
Make a start on wrapping festive presents (next week will be Christmas day, so I need to make a start to avoid 3am bedtime on Xmas day)
Dust the bedroom including high dusting
Change the hose on the shower

I think that is everything that I need to get done today, I hope everyone has a lovely Wednesday
