Hope u had a good night out.

It never happened, everyone cancelled  Though I did have a nice chilled evening at home, watching Braveheart with a bottle of red and chatting to my friend online.
On the plus I did save the £30 I was going to take out with me :D

Weigh in today, 2.7 lbs lost :D I'm just 2.3 lbs away from the 13 stone mark and I'm determined to lose that by next Monday.

I went back to the gym today, I'd had a week off as I couldn't get the motivation up, I had to force myself to go and thought that I would end up resenting it.
So I enjoyed a relaxing week, and started again today. I think I pushed myself too hard thou, I managed the bike and rower, then felt dizzy and lightheaded, so didn't do the weights or treadmill, went for a slow swim instead. Felt good to get the blood pumping again. :D

Went into HFC today, the settlement figure was slightly larger than I expected, £893.78, so couldn't pay it today.
Did HFC give you a settlement figure valid on that date or one valid for up to 28 days in the future?

The current date one is the one that you want. Else for settling early they can charge you 28 days plus one month of interest instead of just one month. They get to charge interest for every day until the valid until date they give for the settlement figure.

No, that figure is valid until...*checks paperwork*...5th September. The last figure I got I paid about 3 weeks after receiving it, and they took just that amount, no extra.

I'm posting the letter on my way home from work when I finish at midnight, that means they'll get it tomorrow, and cash it next few days :D

OK, so if you do use that one it looks as though you'll be paying interest until 5 September as part of the settlement amount.

Could you have paid the whole amount less 15 last week when you walked in? Wondering whether you offered to pay then and there and they gave you a 15 higher settlement figure that prevented you.
