Lost 1.1 lbs this week, which drops me below the 13 stone mark. I'm now 12 stone 13.7 lbs :D

C took me to Flambards Adventure park yesterday, had loads of fun. Tired today thou. She's cooking me dinner tonight, so it'll be on the table when I get home from work :)
She's coming up with me in October to see my brother which should be fun, she's going to drive us up so that will save us train fare.

We were expecting it to be crazy busy with kids as it was a bank hol, but it was great, only a couple of minutes wait for each ride.

We're already planning a holiday to New York for next year!! It's somewhere we both want to go, so I'd better start saving :D

    Hey all,
Me and C were talking last night and we've decided to take the plunge and get engaged! :o:D
We've decided to go away for a special weekend and propose to each other around her birthday in October. As we both want a ring and both know we're getting engaged it won't be a surprise, but we want to make it special.

We've told people in our works, but family won't know until it's 'official' in October cos we don't want to shock them lol :D
She's already seen a ring she wants, and we're going into town on Saturday to pick one out for me.

It seems like we are rushing into it, but we are both so sure and we feel like we've known each other ages, even thou it's been two weeks!

Debt-freeness won't be put on hold, but it might slow down a little!

Yes, two weeks is very sudden. Still, October is at least five weeks away so you'll have more time to get comfortable. :)

In New York City one of the best deals available is the Staten Island Ferry just before dusk so you get the skyline in daylight and a return trip after dinner on Staten Island so you get the night skyline on the way back.

Tee hee :p yes, that's why that will be our official engagement, when we tell our families 2 months sounds better than 2 weeks :D

Rang HFC today as still no confirmation letter come thru. The lady I spoke to confirmed the account balance is £0 and the account is closed!! :j:j
I mentioned I hadn't had a confirmation letter and she said they don't send them (which is wrong as the last one I closed sent me a letter!) So I asked her to send me something, even just a typed letter and she said she will 'see what she can do'. Didn't sound too happy about it thou! I've noted her name down just in case.
I am SOOOO glad to get rid of those idiots!! :D

Spotted the perfect ring today, £140. The one C wants is just £89 so I think I will buy her a necklace or something to match the cost.

As I left to go to work I found it on the mat :rotfl: so didn't need to ring!

Came out of a meeting at work to find C had dropped a bunch of white roses into the office on her way home. :A I won't see her now until Friday as she's away in Bristol for a course :(
