I'll be cycling round to yours soonas long as it's not too windy. With all the weight I've lost I'll blow away!
:rotfl:thats the way to do it! surpise attack on her!!!! Yes don't blow away....I want my best friend still.
As for the othernews, I so hope after the tests it is nothing since I know how much Chloe means to your mum. Also yes fingers crossed your car will pass straight through the MOT since as you said, it should sell a lot easier then.

I'm going to ring the garage on monday, and see if they will do the MOT early. Will of course let you know Chloes test results as soon as I hear, you know first hand how long results take to come back :rolleyes:Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Fingers crossed they will do the MOT for you. At least that way you don't have to wait the extra month waiting to find out whether you are going to pass it or not and allows you to plan better what to do next with your car.
I so pray it wont be too long for the results from Chole's tests to come back since it must be hell for your mum and you having to wait not knowing. Always the worse bit of waiting for results, the uncertainty. *hugs* Just because I think you really need alot of them at this moment in your life.0 -
Had a text off mum today, Chloe is back from the vets, very sore & doped up. Apparently it will take up to 10 days to get the results back, fingers crossed they come soon.
Weigh day for me yesterday, a small loss of 0.6 lbs, but it's all in the right direction so still good. It means I'm now a round 14st 9 lbs.
Back to the gym today as my ankle is feeling better, still twinging slightly, but ok. I went for my first run with the running club! Most of them are training for the Plymouth half marathon so were doing 9 miles, but there was a lady who took me on a smaller route. I managed 2.73 milesI don't think I did too bad for my first run, had to stop along the way, but I think I've got the pace right.
I'm planning on another run before next tuesday, see if I'll do better this time.
I think I'm the only 'beginner' so not sure I'll stick with the club, I don't want to push myself too far too fast. I have a friend who wants to start running, so may just go out with her until I can build up to 9 miles.
Got MOT booked for friday, landlord is coming round on friday too, to paint the bathroom.

Thanks beanie.
Forgot to say too, I had a letter today from Bank of Scotland, telling me I had 6 payments left of my loan. I paid this off last year with a final settlement, they've not taken any payments or sent demand letters since, and infact I recieved a cheque off them last week for £44.19 so I'd obviously overpaid the settlement.
Going to send them a letter asking what their playing at!:rolleyes:Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Re the running - if this other lady is prepared to run with you and gradually build your distance up could you not stick with the running group? If you know it is once a week you will go - if it is a friend there could be the "nah can't be bothered tonight" syndrome setting in!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

JUst called in to see how your ankle was after your fall and see you are now running! You are doing really well both with the money (or lack of it!) and the fitness regime.
