Morning all. Wordle in four.
Components of apple pie prepped, pastry in fridge, apples cooling, so I'm just having breakfast.I'll just potter today. Currently it's looking like we're going to have normal Sunday night/Monday routine with all the DGDs.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
*Healing vibes* for your DGD Jazee.Good luck with your exam on Monday MMM. Horrible things exams.(((Hugs))) Narco.Struggling with Connections, Wordle in four, love Strands and now attempt to do it before letting myself have a hint. Not a fan of American spellings but that can't be helped. We've got two huge terracotta pots (they were my mother's) at the top of the front steps, one of which the storm managed to topple over yesterday morning but Belovéd righted it and swept up most of the compost on my newly scrubbed steps and I bunged another three pot feet under it to stop that happening again. Other than that we've weathered it without any bother so that's rather lucky. I noticed a tree down on The Hoe this morning on my dog walk and it's still extremely windy but the sea is flat calm behind the breakwater, the swimmers were out, and the sun is shining. First load has been run through the WM and I'll peg it out in a bit.Slowly working my way through all the bathroom gibble and bedside table/dog crate stuff. so the spring cleaning is coming on but it takes me so loooooong. Did the shower room yesterday as we were using it while the paint hardened in our en suite, and having not used the bathroom much I've only this morning discovered exactly where the large black cat went between the windowsill with the wet paint pawprints on it to the cork-tiled floor. Not much chance of getting Higgs's paw prints off the side of the bath now, is there.Today I'd like to get the shelves back up on my office wall that was also repainted so I can carry on with the spring cleaning in there too. After the sitting room, which I did in the summer and looks fabulous as a result, my office is without doubt the worst room in the house and I need it sorted and cleaned to satisfy my soul. If I can get it done by New Year's Eve I will be a very, very happy bunny. As usual it's not the actual cleaning that takes so long, it's the sorting of the gibble because of my slight hoarding tendencies that I don't seem to be able to cure. I know exactly why I do it and I also know it's a source of constant irritation but I can't seem to connect the two in a realistic joined up thinking kind of way. I'm going to do some Six Hat Thinking about that between now and Christmas and see what comes of it.Must also write my Christmas cards. I have a list, I need to check with Belovéd that we're not duplicating any.Better is good enough.6

Morning all
Lots of WM and TD done. Gateau out of the freezer and thawing in the oven - the oven isn't on but we have a cat...
Daisy has escaped her pen (new bunny) because the wind has blown the extra mesh from the wall. No point trying to usher her back in while it's windy; she's fine in the garden.
Family coming for Sunday dinner so I am pottering and tidying. One christmas card holder up and cards pinned on with stapler set to pin.
Got connections one life lost and getting better at Strands, one hint used. Not attempted wordle yet.

Had a quick eight minute walk with Poppet as she was not impressed by the weather either. Inspired by HB I sorted out the four drawer filing cabinet in my office. There's now a lot of shredding to do at some point. Other than that, just dailies today.Spend less now, work less later.5
