They've probably purposely left bits off the bikes so you can all buy more stuff off of them! :D

Looks like this is a rubbish deal...

Better off looking in the local paper and buying a secand hand bike you can see before paying for...
  • 'Mail order returns' doesn't really mean anything - it could just be junk they've sold that's been returned to them! .
It's not worth trying to repair cheap bikes - the parts will probably cost more than the price of a cheapo new bike from somewhere like Halfords, or a decent refurbished model from a reputable independent bike shop.

Or indeed a fully guaranteed new bike from the same website, starting at £50 with £15 postage.

Good deal if you get a bike with no or limited faults not so good if its got lots of bits missing. Still its down to luck and many of us are just out of luck....now where's that lottery ticket!
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

I'd rather support a local independent shop where they can sell you something tailored to your size - important with bikes, and not easy to do by mail-order.

I suspect he means (as its on the right side of the bike) the chainset (as this also has the pedal attach to it both missing) if so £20 - £30 for the chainset £5 for the pedals.

All the gear wheel bits are on the right .... :rotfl: :rotfl:

The pole aka as the bottom bracket axel, is a universal size - unless you have a 105 BB ..... you will need either a bolt or nut to secure it

You need to look at the number on the left changer to see how many chain rings you will need - no left changer means you need a single. The thing you have to look at is the clearance on the frame.
You also need to ensure that it is same length as the left hand crank (the arm the pedal attached to ) - look for numbers - 160, 165, 170, 175 etc these are mm's ..

You may need the "cranks" http://www.unipackuk.com/bikeparts-largewheel.htm best give them a call as the price is "Cranks
Our Price: £4.00 (plus £1.99 P&P per item)" and I cannot see that being just for a left crank, if they do complete rear wheels for 4.99....and at least you will know it will fit...
