    FOLLOWING THIS EMAIL:

    Dear ***********

After looking at the images I agree with you 100% - this bike never should left our building. I can issue a full refund today, as we have exhausted our 99p deal stock.
However if you wish considering taking a new bike, maybe I can do some sort of deal for you. let me know either way.

    All the best!

    Regards

    Jazz

I have, today, received a full refund inc p&p.
So congrats to the ones that got a good deal, keep creating to ones that got a 'nail' and to the smug ones that said "told you so" go and find another thread.

Yep full refund incl postage in my account today.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • Raised claim with Pay pal !!!! What a waste of time that was.

Apparently case closed no e-mail to say so from Pay Pal. Just logged into my account and found the following message.

We have completed our investigation of this case. No further action is required by you at this time. We have refused this claim. As stated in our User Agreement, Pay Pal's Buyer Complaint Policy only applies to the delivery of goods, not to disputes about the attributes or quality of the goods received. We have noted your claim in the seller's record. The seller's account privileges will be limited if excessive complaints are received.

So basically send a load of crap or an empty box take peoples money and who gives a ****.

    Well done Pay Pal.

Well paid via credit card so will now take it up with the bank.

I know it is only £20.98 but it is the principal of the matter not the amount.

I suspect that the response ould have been similar regardless of payment method used. The first point of call for complaints/refunds is the vendor, if they refuse to deal with the matter then there are other avenues to follow. Taking the matter up with the providers of the payment method is only when the goods are not supplied at all.

As others of us have shown take it up directly with unipac, keep it polite and too the point and you may have the same success.

It is too their credit they have admitted their mistake and provided a full refund too those of us who asked for it. Pitty they did not offer a free replacement on top but can't always get everything.

One of my bikes was missing the disc brake calipers. I emailed them saying I was unhappy as it was clearly not safe to ride a bike with no brakes. They emailed back saying I could have any parts I needed half price plus free p+p. No calipers on their website so I emailed and asked if they sold them. Got an email back saying they do for £3.99 and to phone to order as they are not on the website. I did this and they arrived yesterday. Much cheaper than I had been able to find them else where.

If you missing parts it is worth phoning them as they do seem to be trying to help those who are unhappy and obviously have more parts than those on their website.

I now have two working bikes for a total of just under £60. Both of them were on sale in Toy'r'us at the weekend for £99 (down from £199) in the sale. I am very happy and so will DD be when she gets her birthday present on Friday.
