  • I know this is probably a failing on my part but I do not fully understand PADs. Where does the money come from to finance them each day?

PADs looking great for this month, hope DH is continuing the front room clearing and he gets a decent payout.
Thank you, it's nice to see a bigger total!

I did 14 listings for DH yesterday, so hopefully he'll carry on this weekend.

Mostly from my current account from what I've got left to spend for the month - I just send £1 each day to my savings account and CC. I find that I don't notice it so much if it's a little bit going out each day.   Then if I get any extra income - e.g. sales, PB win, surveys etc, I also PAD that too so get the bigger totals.  It works for me!  If interest rates go down too much, I'll go back to padding to the mortgage.

It doesn't matter if there is no weight loss this week. You are thinking about what you eat and know there are good reasons if you havent lost anything. You know losing weight is a marathon not a sprint. Keep going you will win.

I think the slimming clubs have too much focus on weekly weight...maybe look at your monthly weight loss (or gain) for a more realistic pattern?
    Well done on lottery win
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 100/1000
    Buffer fund 0/100

Thank you, I do like a lottery win, a big one would be even better though

Thank you.  I'll try and look at the overall picture.  When I went before I would only ever lose fortnightly, the weeks in between I generally either maintained or gained.
