I know this is probably a failing on my part but I do not fully understand PADs. Where does the money come from to finance them each day?2

Thank you, it's nice to see a bigger total!teapot2 said:PADs looking great for this month, hope DH is continuing the front room clearing and he gets a decent payout.
I did 14 listings for DH yesterday, so hopefully he'll carry on this weekend."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
Mostly from my current account from what I've got left to spend for the month - I just send £1 each day to my savings account and CC. I find that I don't notice it so much if it's a little bit going out each day. Then if I get any extra income - e.g. sales, PB win, surveys etc, I also PAD that too so get the bigger totals. It works for me! If interest rates go down too much, I'll go back to padding to the mortgage.[Deleted User] said:I know this is probably a failing on my part but I do not fully understand PADs. I'm very glad it's the weekend (for me!) now. I plan on having a relaxing one. I'm not sure I'm going to lose any weight this week which will be a bit embarassing for the first week, but I'll still go. I probably should have waited til this week to join when there's less on. I have tracked everything though, so I'm pleased with that. It has helped me identify a couple of fairly easy swaps, and some things that I won't be buying again for now!
14 listings done yesterday, and a couple of sales this week."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
It doesn't matter if there is no weight loss this week. You are thinking about what you eat and know there are good reasons if you havent lost anything. You know losing weight is a marathon not a sprint. Keep going you will win.2

Any lottery win is amazing I agree the PADs look fab

I think the slimming clubs have too much focus on weekly weight...maybe look at your monthly weight loss (or gain) for a more realistic pattern?
Well done on lottery winIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you, I do like a lottery win, a big one would be even better thoughLzzyIsGod said:Any lottery win is amazing I agree the PADs look fab
Thank you. I'll try and look at the overall picture. When I went before I would only ever lose fortnightly, the weeks in between I generally either maintained or gained.doingitanyway said:I think the slimming clubs have too much focus on weekly weight...maybe look at your monthly weight loss (or gain) for a more realistic pattern?

I haven't been able to get into the forum again! Maybe it doesn't like the heat.
Well, as a huge surprise, I lost 4.5lb this morning! That's never happened before. I was really hoping for a measly half a pound, but expecting a maintain or gain. Maybe I sweated it all off walking down this morning
That's given me a nice boost anyway.
In less nice news, someone is claiming something is missing from a high value parcel which was sent overseas. 'Coincidentally' it is the rarest piece, and they also deal in these items. I know it was there as I packed the parcel! But I can't prove it. I've told them to return it. It's DH's item obviously, so he's not impressed either. It's been a long time since we've had any hassles like these, but it reinforces that I want a life with less 'stuff' to deal with!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
