Brunch and visiting relatives sound lovely. Good news about the NW payment and good luck for SW. Do you go to local meetings with them once you've joined?

Yes, there's a meeting just down the road from me so I can combine it with a walk too!  I find that if I do it online, it's too easy just to disappear if I have a bad week, and so it's harder to recover.  I'm hoping that if I go in person, I'll be more motivated to stick to it, and also get a bit of a boost for the next week as well.  I'm paid up for 12 weeks so I'll see how I get on!

Today's been a bit of a write off though - great start 😂.  However it was planned, and I'd promised we'd do it for little miss, so it's a one off, and I'm not going to beat myself up about it!

I found in person meetings was the only thing that ever worked long term for me. It’s the accountability of someone weighing you as well as support and ideas from other members. I do WW, been at goal over 20 years but didn’t have a lot to lose less than a stone. I wanted to nip it in the bud before it became a problem.

There are going to be days when it’s impossible to stay on plan but one bad day needn’t become a bad week.

    Good luck with it 🙂

Thank you :)  I did ok last time I went to an in person meeting until they closed the group.  Hopefully it will work again this time.  I don't think we have any WW around here, I've never seen it anyway.  I like the simplicity of SW, if I eat 'real' food, it's very easy.  I don't go in for all the fake foods that people try.

We've just done DH's redundancy claim.  Fingers crossed it's all ok and he gets the pay out!  We need to do the notice as well when they tell us we can.  Annoyingly that will be net of any benefits he could have claimed, even though he didn't claim any!
