A small survey cashout this morning to add to my PAD.
I've been busy catching up on admin this morning, I feel like I haven't done anything for ages! I have updated my spending and financial spreadsheets, booked little miss's school lunches from September to half term, signed up for a boiler service plan, done meter readings, and done a bank switch to hopefully get £200.
The new account pays 5% interest for balances of up to £1500 a year, so I'm contemplating withdrawing my PBs after the draw, earning (alnost) a month's interest on them, leaving the £1500 in the new account, and then putting the rest back at the end of the month. I'll only miss one draw and at least earn a little bit of interest.
I've got our bedding in the wash, kids were done yesterday. I've got a gammon in the oven and we'll have that with salad later. At least the cooking is done before it gets too hot.
DH is at the car boot, I'm planning on doing little today otherwise. He's got a item selling for the third time today, both times before have been cancelled by the buyer for various reasons. Hopefully it will be third time lucky!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

Is that the highest monthly pad so far this year? I can’t wait to also see the declutter totals. You are doing so well.
if it were me, I’d sooner be in a draw for a million than earning little more than £10 interest if I read your post right.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Yes, it is very annoying.

I'm the same with PBs, but also painfully aware that I haven't won anything for about 2 years on my account. DH has had some wins on his, and the kids have, but I am the unlucky one! But, yes, when you put it like that, it might be too much effort."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". So much for sitting down! It doesn't feel so hot here today so I went out and weeded the patio. I've also done a little workout whilst watching some of the Glastonbury coverage. I had a little moan at DH about the stuff in the front room again, as I couldn't reach the back of the TV box when it needed resetting. He's been out sorting stuff from the garage, planning to do a car boot next weekend.
Now I do plan to just chill this afternoon!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

Happy payday! Money shuffle has been done. I haven't really thought about it though, so might need to adjust at some point.
Today hasn't been a great day, and I even managed to declutter my favourite glass this morning which was a great start to the day. Despite that, I have stuck to plan and not drowned my sorrows with chocolate which I normally would have done. The heat helps with the not eating though!
Little miss had her rescheduled sports day today, so I managed to pop along for it which was nice as I couldn't go on the previous date.
Finished early so I could pick DH up from the garage as his car is in for MOT and some repairs. That leaves me without a car for the next couple of days which is also leaving me grumpyI've had to arrange a colleague give me a lift one day for a meeting that was arranged after I had given DH permission. I've also got a day in another part of the county on Thursday so he's been told he's on his own that day!
