Little miss loves her room. Hopefully she'll help by keeping it tidy for a while! I'm so pleased with it, I keep going to have a look at it
I went visiting this morning, and am shattered and achey now. Going to snuggle up with my hot water bottle. Not looking forward to working tomorrow but at least it's not a 'normal day.
I've been watching some of the Holocaust Memorial stuff. So heartbreaking, and awful that we are increasingly seeing the 'othering' and hatred of communities these days, similar to how it all started all those years ago."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Yes. PAD (Payment a Day)
Today's PAD - £2, same yesterday
Jan - £125"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Happy Wednesday! I'm off now until Monday. I worked yesterday, which was an interesting event, and other than that just worked through my emails which will help reduce the pain when I go back next week.
No plans for today. I've got our bedding in the wash, and other than that will just potter around. Walked this morning.
I've set up the payment for little miss's piano lessons and booked her school lunches up til Easter. I contacted our weekend away booking and added bed linen to the booking. It's free on one but not the other. I'd rather pay a little to add it than have to faff around making beds up! (Plus we usually take my car and it's got less space in the boot than DHs).
Roll on Friday and payday!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
PAD (Payment a Day)
Today's PAD - £2
Jan - £127"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Nearly payday!
I'm not sure what happened to yesterday, it seemed to fly by. I did manage to get 14 listings done for DH, and I sold two items so they were packed and posted.
I sorted through little miss's clothes and got rid of some stained/worn/too small clothing. She's got too much, but I struggle to get rid of it whilst it still fits! I'll have to try and do one in and one out.
I opened the windows and the back door this morning to air the house a bit, and have tidied the kitchen. Done some surveys. I'll give the fridge a clean out before my shopping arrives.
I want to update the financials ahead of payday tomorrow. Not much else planned for the day."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
A quiet day today. I've updated the financials and am very pleased with this month. I spent £411 on groceries and £44 of that was my Who Gives a Cr*p subscription, so I'm stocked up on loo rolls for the year. The spend was helped by eating through the cupboards, but they are still not empty! There were some additional shops and a work lunch in there as well, so it could have been better.
School spends were high this month due to both kids having trips needing paying for and little miss's piano lessons.
My savings have taken a hit as I paid off the credit card we put the sofas on before the interest was applied, but that was expected anyway."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
