Well done on the PADs and the sales.

Yes, we're not blessed with practical skills.

Thank you.  I'm not looking forward to it at all.  I suppose at least it keeps me focussed on my financial goals!  Hope the return is ok for you.

I've been doing a bit of digital decluttering today.  Trying to clear stuff off the laptop, and also start decluttering the external drive.  I've managed to declutter 1GB out of 1TB so far :D   I think there are lots of duplicate photos on there so once I've got them all in one place, it should be easy enough to go through.

I've also sat and read for a bit.  I was in the front room rather than out the back, and I'm all achey from the sofa (I don't normally sit on it for too long).  I definitely can't wait until the new one arrives, and hope it's more comfortable!

DH is watching rubbish on the TV, so I'm going to head up early and finish La Palma on my ipad.

My dad taught me how to change plugs and when I was involved in setting up a new care home I put on all the plugs on the electrical stuff. Several years later I was renewing one and the new manager asked if I knew what I was doing. I told her she had better hope so as I had put on most of the others in the house. This was when things started having plugs on when you buy them.
I've changed a plug before where it's just unscrewing it and screwing a new one on, but this involves stripping off the wires etc, and I'm not comfortable about doing that, I'd probably lose several metres of cable getting it wrong!

Ahh I see. Probably best to get it done for you then.
  • What did you think to La Palma? I’ve just watched playing nice on ITVX which was really good too. When does your new sofa arrive? X

    Definitely less hassle!

I liked it, though it was fairly formulaic.  It's always funny how people in disaster films always make dreadful decisions!  I might try and watch Playing nice.

New sofa is at the beginning of March so a bit of a wait yet.
