Today's PAD - £2
Jan - £20"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Happy Saturday! I can't believe the holidays are almost over. At least I've got lots of time off in January where hopefully my time will be my own.
I've done 16 listings this morning, go me! Hopefully I'll get some sales.
Decluttered two fancy porridge pots to the food bank this morning after trying a third. I'll never be a person who likes porridge so there's no point in me aiming to do so and having them cluttering up my cupboards.
It's freezing out there today, but no sign of snow for us, probably just more rain later. Hope everyone is ok wherever they are."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

Well done on the listings, fingers crossed you get lots of interest.

I've spent most of the afternoon reading one of my Christmas books, snuggled up with the hot water bottle
DH has done a couple of niggly jobs and also looks like he's been doing a bit of sorting so that's good.
One item sold so that was packed and posted for DH.
I've had a message on the GP for an HBA1C test. Given the results I had a couple of months ago when it was up a lot and then back down, and as I haven't been eating well or exercising, I'm going to put it off for a bit and try and make some improvements in the meantime. My blood pressure and weight are stable so that's good, but just need to hopefully get the weight reducing and stop snacking on so much junk! I've told the kids we are back walking to school, so that should help too. Actually just checked the app, and the last one was mid September so I might try and stretch it until March.
I still need to take the tree and decorations down but waiting for DH to get the boxes down from the loft. I'll do it tomorrow morning now."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
That’s been my job for today, taking down the decorations, surprisingly no one else in the house can do this or put them back in the loft. At least house is nice and clean now. Tomorrow will be more of a quiet day and here’s hoping we don’t get the snow they are predicting as I’m hoping to start going out for a walk each day to help with my fitness.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Hope you enjoy your quiet day, and that you didn't get too much snow. None here, just lots of rain. Good luck with the walking, I'll be starting again tomorrow when the kids go back"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
