Happy Sunday! I can't believe it's back to work/school tomorrow. At least this week is my only full week at work this month
First job will be putting the decorations away. DH has finally got the boxes down for them. Other than that, not a lot planned for today.
Hope there haven't been too many problems with the weather where you are."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

I've been reading through your diary and I wanted to say how well you did with your 2024 goals. I am impressed with the decluttering and I need to do the same. Good luck with your goals for 20251

Morning, happy Sunday! Sounds like you’ve got a nice day quiet day planned prior to going back to work and school, enjoy. There’s lots of snow near me so planning a day at home, probably snuggled up with my cat as I’ve still got the lurgy! Hope your first day back goes ok, when will you have confirmation of your new work structure?2

Last I heard we should hear something end Jan/early Feb. It would be nice to have that bit of certainty now."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Decorations are all down and packed away. We sorted through them and have got rid of a load as well. There's no point in dropping them to charity at this time of year, so we'll add them to the car boot stuff, and then donate anything that's left in the Autumn. It's made a good start to the declutter list!
Another item sold by DH so that's been packed and posted.
We have loads of boxes stored so hopefully we'll have some good sales so we can start decluttering the mountain. I have been using the wrapping paper in the ones we've posted so far so that's going down."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've hoovered through and that prompted me to check the dates of the repair cafe. It's next weekend, so DH is going to go out and get a new plug, and we'll take the hoover along there to get it fitted next week. Definitely cheaper than buying a new hoover. I know we could probably do it ourselves, but with electricals I'd feel more comfortable with someone who knows what they are doing. The old plug is bent and has to be forced in and out, so it will be much better with a new one."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
