I do think breakages are more about the person than the incident. I have fallen several times very badly & bounced, whereas DS stubbed his toes & broke 2. It was a bit of a shock because I had assumed he would be like me & ouch that is going to really hurt & bruise badly. He said it didn't hurt after the initial bang.1

Thank you everyone
Glad it's more about the person. I have been to A&E several times with little jwil, but never with little miss. We've never broken anything either, so no experience of it.
We got the call to go to the hospital, so went, but then after a couple of hours they told us they wouldn't get to us today so we are home again. They are hoping to get us in first thing tomorrow, so hopefully we'll hear later.
I did go to SW this morning, and lost 5lb (that's over 2 weeks), and I got my 2st award, my gold award and slimmer of the week. I'm in a new stone number too, though that one might not last as it's probably due to the fact I didn't eat yesterday!
I didn't really sleep last night so this afternoon will be relaxing with maybe a little snoozing!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
Oh dear , hope little Jwil heals very quickly , will he still be able to attend school ? Huge well done on your weight loss , so pleased for you , that's a big amount in 2 weeks , I am sure you must be feeling the benefits of it by now x1

It's his non-writing hand, so as soon as he gets the all clear he'll be able to go to school. I don't know what they will say about the op. I've told him he can have Monday off regardless and we'll see what advice we get after that.
I'm really pleased with the weight loss and definitely feel better. I think there's a bit of inflation in this week's loss due to not eating yesterday, but the 2 stone and a bit more is definitely genuine."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I was asleep before 8 last night, and could have done with more this morning. I feel better for it though. We're to be back in the hospital by 7.30am so hopefully will get the op today nice and early so we can be home again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
